I think it's also a good sign if he can pull out big moments like that assist even whilst playing badly.
Worth pointing out that Chair, despite not being anywhere near his best this season, is getting goals/assists at his quickest rate for us (one every 202 minutes compared to one every 250 last season) |

Would like to see Esquerdinha get some minutes, especially given that all of our other left backs won't be here next season, and a couple more games for Walsh and Bennie (would like to see him get some longer games like recently instead of just 10 minutes off the bench to run around a bit). |

He was decent for the rest of the time he was on today but that first half an hour he was really good, looked like the player we thought we'd signed in August. Good to have someone who can actually take a set piece too. |

It wasn't a good game for either team but not losing was key and we managed that fairly comfortably, Nardi wasn't tested once whilst their keeper was. Promising signs from all of the back four (Paal definitely much better than recent games, Morrison showing why he should've been starting recently), Dembele slowly getting back to his level (and he can actually take a corner!), Bennie finally got more than five minutes and he showed some glimpses of quality, if Lloyd can't play on Wednesday I'd start him up front.
Having said that, I doubt I'd be so optimistic if they'd scored one of those long shots at the end. |

Taking a quick look through the fixture list, Doak and Bannan are the two obvious picks, would also say Maja for WBA (not sure he was a world beater but hard to argue with a hat trick), Gus Hamer for Sheff Utd, Chakvetadze for Watford, and every person to ever play in goal for Plymouth.
Harsh on Nardi but Dunne has to be POTY for me |

Today was a bit of a free hit with Marti not being there but it's disappointing to come away from that with nothing, especially with most of the game happening in their half. Cook/Fox particularly culpable, but good to see Lloyd get a deserved goal and Saito looking sharp off the bench again. Need a better performance and result on Tuesday to get back on track now before we start sliding down the table. |

Do we know that his contract's up at the end of this season? This time last year when he went to Wigan on loan the club said:
"The 22-year-old forward, who has extended his contract with QPR, will stay at the DW Stadium for the remainder of the season." |

Thought we were ok for about 60 minutes, but we got increasingly leggy as the second half went on. Disappointing but we've got time to get people sharp again before next Saturday. |
