I am going to write to the club to ask for the remaining home games of this season to be played at a neutral venue somewhere in the north west, especially the FA Cup 5th round game, because the pitch looks an absolute disgrace, it is the worst pitch I have ever seen, which won't look good live on BBC One, so it wouldn't be a bad idea if no more games were played on it until next season to give it time to recover as I have never seen a pitch as bad as that in many a year.

Why wouldn't Col U play home matches at Portman Road, it's the closest ground that has good drainage.

If both preston and sheffield Utd games get postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, I will write to the club requesting for the remaining home games to be played at Portman Road, Ipswich, where the drainage is far better and should ease fixture congestion.

Won't Play At Home During Feb

Now that 2 home games in a row have been postponed due to bad weather, I am working on the principle that Colchester won't play at home at all during Feb and if they do it's a bonus the way things are going.
