Well one tried to get Beale but his huge loyalty to us denied them 😃

Chair and Frey on the bench. Maybe that first half was part of a cunning plan?

Or we're just not very good.

QPR finally taste home victory as Norwich get Kolli-wobbles – Report

I did wonder why Gunn was standing in the paddock for Kolli's first goal.

Interestingly I watched a Norwich match review on youtube yesterday and the guy called out Smyth as being impressive for us, along with Kolli. Overall he was pretty fair and commented that we have quality in our team. A change from the usual "worst performance of the season" stuff you seem to get from the oppo whenever we beat anyone.

Norwich losing heads, ref good and Morrisson lucky

Good call, I remember that game well, Really frustrating.

The late Falco goal was very passionately celebrated due to all the shithousing that had gone on. I also seem to recall a huge chorus of "boring, boring Norwich" after the final whistle, despite the positive emotions following the equaliser.

For me it ranks close to the Gurnham Singh Spurs game in terms of an angry home crowd.

Memories of Benoit Assou-Ekotto. Big hair, looked great for a few months and then disappeared.

David Bardsley.

He may be seen as a hero now but when he first joined he used to get a lot of abuse from our fans.

Mike McIntyre

Saw him a few years back here in Sydney and he was excellent. Kids were still quite young and it was a comedian we felt we could take them to see without things getting too "adult".

I know he's one people love to hate but we had a very good night watching him.

Really good interview. I liked Warburton and we were lucky to have him. Comments on being pressured to pick youth players spot on.

This is good news, a decent guy and a job that on the face of it should suit him very well.

Best of luck Gareth!

They'll probably stay up now and beat us next season too.

So basically a Ned Zelic, Simon Osbourne, Mark Hateley type scenario.

Its not about that. Its about the owner buying the platform and then flooding it with extreme content from one end of the political spectrum. Its ruining what was once a great platform.

Fine if you like that content, by all means engage and enjoy, fill your boots. The rest of us don't need to have it forced upon us though. That is the problem. Whether you want it or not it has become unavoidable.

Most of us don't frequent these places seeking political arguments.

Have you ever left early...
at 08:27 12 Nov 2024

You may be the first to ever admit to that. There were many that day. Considered it myself but decided to stay.

Don't think I ever left early. Once tried to storm out after we conceded a late winner at Arsenal but was stopped at the gate and had to hang around until the police escort after the game.

No, it isn't that. It is having extreme views often directed by the owner forced on people. There is no balance. Musk bought the platform for this very reason. Its just another media attempt at mind control and has been quite successful.

I use Twitter for mostly football related banter etc which it used to be brilliant for and sometimes still is. Social media started going downhill in general when it got political some years back. Facebook no better, although it does seem to have eased up a bit more recently. Or maybe I just don't see it any more after unfollowing the worst accounts.

Considering it. Twitter used to be so good but has been ruined by Musk.

I have been able to manage my feed so I avoid most of the worst stuff (I don't click on the "for you" tab which is where a lot of it will be found) but being on there doesn't sit that well with me given who runs it and how he's using it.

So is Bluesky any good? I tried Threads but it doesn't seem to be up to much.

Celtic have done this sort of thing very well in recent years. O'Riley is only the most recent example, Jota before him. Kuhn will be next and maybe Kyogo. But they have huge support, champions league money and not much domestic competition.

What did Tony Fernandez say?
at 22:29 6 Nov 2024

It is actually quite depressing that the best clubs like us can seemingly hope for is kicking around the bottom half of the prem for years like Palace and Brentford. To me doesn't seem that much more interesting than doing the same in the championship (although even that is starting to look beyond us).
