They have always kept things as quiet as possible (which is right) and even with the recruitment of Puel they were not far off the mark. This is shown in the split in the fans views of the season! IMO we were not good enough, 8th was good but we were too close points wise to 17th and so far from 7th and the football was so dire most of the time but brilliant on the odd occasion which means we have a capable team. IMO they like to do things in a business manor not a football manor so all we can do is wait and I think we will find out that we have a new manager. SFC do not like advertising prospective recruitment's and although it bugs us to hell and back, it is the right thing! Sit tight, I'm enjoying the sun in Malta and we wait for the official word. |

TeamCortese - I don't think its Saints or Alderweireld who are holding things up. Everyone saw how good he was for us and I think Athletico are trying to use this as a leaver to get the biggest bidder! Obviously we can bid £1M or whatever is it, less than anyone else because of the clause we have in place! Which may I say was a VERY smart move by Saints board!!!
Talking of the board, they seem to be getting better and better so in them I trust! |

I agree with you Nick. Us Maltese fans will be doing our part as we meet for this game. One thing I have noticed and you did mention it, it is not the time to voice our opinion at past players. When we have done this in the past, our team do not perform as well! Looking forward to this one! |

With MoPo's high pressing game, I think it will play straight in to the hands of Mane and Tadic. They will love running into the gap at the back! I'd go 2-0 Saints.
When we signed Koeman, I said that I thought MoPo had done us a favour by leaving and I think Sunday will prove it! |
