| Forum Reply | Can someone explain this ref? at 17:12 3 Apr 2022
I’m no expert lip reader but pretty sure Mitro called the ref not once but twice a C..t and once directly in front of him. |

That is a great watch which has brought back memories of his days at QPR. I was fortunate to work with his to be father in law and frequently spent Saturday evenings with Dave,Pat and John having a meal and a drink or two quite often in Chiswick. He was a fairly quiet guy but loved playing football and would often sort me out a ticket, sometimes in the boardroom area, at away games. It was a great tragedy when and how he died I think but not sure he was suffering with a knee injury that in those days usually meant the finish of your career but probably now could be sorted out. |

When the free kick was taken that got the ball into the box from which the (penalty ) was given the ball was moving another mistake by the officials. Looked like the ball was not on the penalty spot. Law 14 Penalty Kick: The ball must be stationary on the penalty mark. |

The guy behind me in Ellerslie was telling his mate that Eze is so good he could play for any Prem team but then he did also say the best player he had ever seen at R’s was Ravel Morrison. Eze is good but nowhere near the finished article and still has a lot to learn. Not sure if the expectation is weighing on him or hopefully not becoming complacent. Maybe a start on the bench might be what he needs. Regardless of that so very happy with the turn round from the start of the season and credit to Manager, his team and the players. |

I walked past the cage in Ellerslie Road at about 2.45 just as about 20 or more Brummies charged through the cordon of stewards in the cage who were checking bags etc. They didn't seem to concerned about there own fans that they knocked out of the way or that there were women and kids there. The police who were outside the cage went to go in and were blocked by some of the other fans. I walked on and was nearly flattened by two police horses that were charging down the road presumably to go and help. |

It doesn't help the defence when you are playing with only ten men. Tozzer the Hungarian International who is not fit to lace the boots of Akos Buszaky is a complete passenger in the team. I don't know what the statistics show but from watching him I guess he covers a lot of ground without actually doing very much. |

Had the honour to meet him outside the ground and have a brief chat a real gentleman. If he doesn't play another minute this season he would still be my choice for player of the season. But for his and our sakes hope he manages every game. |

It has been reported that someone wearing a che###i football kit was seen removing a PSG kit after the game tonight. The authorities will be looking out for an imposter at the presentation if PSG go on to win the C L final. |

Certainly one of if not the best ref around at the minute. See the fourth official a certain C Paws on couldn't even manage to get the electronic board right when the subs were made at the start of the 2nd half. |
| Forum Reply | YOUR HELP NEEDED - QPR at Wembley 1967, were you there? at 13:35 17 May 2014
1-Highlight would probably be the game at Birmingham packed like sardines but what an atmosphere and some very cruel baiting of the police about Harry Roberts. 2-There was about 20 of us that went and queued outside the ground in Ellerslie Road about 11pm after we had been to the pub. Had a car parked up the road so took it in turns to go and have a kip. Sometime during the night a bit of a kick about started and then the police turned up told us to keep the noise down and then joined in the kick about.Price of ticket I can't remember gave the stub and programme to a nephew who supported the R's but couldn,t go to games because of a medical condition. 3-The atmosphere was incredible and then there goals went in and the fans went a bit quiet but as we came back into the game and our goals went in and that chant of Rodnee Rodnee grew and grew. I took a 3ft copper hunting horn with me(imagine trying to take that into Wembley next Saturday) and my Gran had made this banner out of a blue and white striped(hooped )blanket with QPR and a silver cup on it.I wasn't great at playing that thing but it did make a lot of noise. 4- The football overall wasn't great but its the result that counts. 5- We made our way back to Shepherds Bush and I think we might have stopped a few times for some liquid refreshment on the way and then it became a bit of a haze until very late the next day. |

I played on the hallowed turf for Flora Gardens school in the Hammersmith Schools Cup Final in 1960,we won,but can't remember who we played. I have also twice taken part in penalty shoot out competitions in the last couple of years. |

Listened to some of the commentary of the Arse v Man Titty game on the way back from OT. Even during his drivel about that game he kept on mentioning the game at OT and how Man Ure deseved to win and would have won even without the penalty and Derry getting sent off. I tried to get through to the phone in to ask him on what he based those comments or does he have psychic powers and knew how the game would have panned out. Unfortunately due to constant loss of signal and there failure to answer phone calls didn't manage to get through. |

For those that saw the Man City v Liverpool game last night and the head to head confrontation between Skrtel and Dzeko. Can anyone explain the difference between that and the Barton/Johnson episode as there foreheads definitely met. The only difference I saw was that neither Skrtel or Dzeko pulled there heads back. Oh! And the other big difference was the referee actually saw the incident and spoke to them both but neither even received a yellow card. |
