Thread | Didcot v Hereford - match abandoned

I parked near Didcot station this Saturday and noticed a big mob of hoolie types coming out of the station and descending on the nearest pub. I assumed they were Bristol Rovers fans as they were playing Oxford but thought it odd being so far away from the city. On return to the car at 2.30pm the police were in attendance in numbers and it appeared to have kicked off in the pub.
When I checked the next day it transpires these were Hereford fans attending the Didcot game which was abandoned on 89 mins due a pitch invasion with the Didcot keeper being head butted after Hereford scored what they thought was the winner. Hereford apparently took 800 to the game which was about 4 x the home support.
It looks like Hereford are the new AFC Wimbledon ie a phoenix club working their way back up the leagues with comparatively huge support. Once again its a shame for the genuine fans as there will be sanctions and possible points deductions just as the club is having a change in fortunes.

'A former fairground mechanic has been identified as the final member of a group of British Islamic State Prison guards nicknamed the Beatles. El Shafee Elsheikh 27 comes from the same area of London as other members of the cell. Nearly sold out according to seat planner on official with just odd seats left here and there. Am I missing something as didn't think this end of season dead rubber would be that attractive. The fakes have got both tiers though |

From The Jam with Bruce Foxton are worth a look. I've seen them twice now and will be going to the Clapham Grand again this year. It's a 'That's Entertainment' tour where they will be playing all the tracks from the album . . plus the faves of course. Worth going just to see Bruce's barnet ! |

Went to see From The Jam last week in Clapham. Unable to stand around tapping my feet so went in the mosh pit. Fell over twice had to be rescued. Couldn't move the next day. Great night would highly recommend |
