Thanks Clive. Spot on with your report. It could have been very different if their keeper didn’t play a blinder in the first few minutes. So frustrating though with the goals we conceded. The next three games now look very important to try and pick up some points and boost confidence before a very tough run of matches. |

Thanks Clive. A manic few days for you with the Fans Forum and a 3 game week. Much appreciated. If the players show a similar level of commitment tonight we will win easily! [Post edited 1 Oct 13:58]

I had exactly the same thought. Will it all come down to added time again? |

Yes Brian it’s a huge compliment to the character of the man how he ended up so well liked in Ireland after breaking so many hearts in 1990. Sad to see him go at such a relatively young age. The Colm Meaney picture brought back happy memories of the film which I enjoyed and the original book by Roddy Doyle which gave me so many LOL moments. I’ve always associated Schillaci with those good memories. |

If I remember right it’s a still from the film ‘The Van’ and the caption has been photoshopped. Original greeting was very much the opposite! RIP Toto. [Post edited 18 Sep 14:15]

Would have taken them 30 minutes to check everything in the melee before our goal. |

Good performances from all our defence but shout out for Paal as our MOTM. Solid throughout with one great clearance at the back post from a dangerous cross with a SW player ready to tap in, then fantastic delivery on the corner that led to our goal. |

At first sight I thought it was a penalty. Definitely moved his arm to the ball to keep it out. |

Hoping to get along to the C&S pre-match as long as the rain is not biblical, so will be good to see you. Safe travels. |

He certainly showed how to defend crosses to the far post when you have an attacker coming in behind you. Watch & learn please, Jimmy D. |

I wonder who Roy Keane could be thinking of in this rant? I’m sure Anton would agree.
Well said Keano! |

As a wheelchair user, I'm often in the front row at venues and tend to feature heavily on TV coverage. With my current season ticket in the East Paddock I'm often visible in the background at throw-ins and QPR goal celebrations in that area. As recently as Friday I was on Centre Court at Wimbledon, in the corner, and ended up on a lot of the BBC coverage according to friends' messages. However, my all-time favourite TV background moment was in the West Paddock featuring just behind Danny Maddix, when he laid the ball back for John Spencer to cross for Tricky Trev's wonderful overhead kick in January 1997. I wish I had a small royalty percentage for every time that is shown on TV! |

I was lucky enough to be on Centre Court on Friday and thought Emma is developing into a very good match player. She plays the big points well and mixes her game up, often forcing her opponent to play one more shot when she is in very defensive positions. Good luck to her in her match today. It was also my first time to Sinner play up close and he was very impressive. He hits the ball so hard but with fantastic control. He appears to have a great all-round game including an excellent serve. He looked a level above Alcarez, who I saw earlier in the day, and would be my tip for the men's title. |
