SIGN UP JIMMY DUNNE FOR LIFE

Agree with the above post so much; you need these lads that are the fabric of the club and just “get it”

Love the fella even more reading that article

Dunno if it’s been mentioned on here but just finished an 8 parter called Under The Bridge

Adaptation of a book of a true story from late 90’s in Canada
Some interesting diversions off from main story and quite shocking all this could go on in fairly sleepy towns. Also made me realise the whole world has had feral kids and nutters in it for decades

Agree with all this apart from letting Anderson go end of the season

If we can find a taker early January 2025 then I’ll drive him there myself
Would free up wage and squad place for a more robust player than can actually run; preferably a younger player

He was great when he came in, huge part of us staying up, but I was always concerned he was too brittle. It’s a case of thanks, so long, goodbye but come back to visit for me

Smyth,s Goal?
at 00:41 15 Dec 2024

Some of us have backed the little fella since Day One of his hooped career

Others dig him out more than people like Barton whose goals and assists ratio for the club are woefully inferior

Smudge makes my squad every damn week at the moment
Till you show me someone with more endeavour, pace, attitude plus ability so shall it remain

I’d wager you if Saito was playing CB there would numerous times he’d bring the ball under control and find a team mate; not the opposition or touch.
The responses here about being young, out of position etc kind of sum up for me why Queens Park Rangers Football and Athletic Club has become the place it is. The acceptance of mediocrity is outstanding
I’d cut him marginally more slack if he was W12 blood but this fella will be gone quicker than you can say Jack Robinson

Once again this highlights our lack of Yoot depth and crucially shows fundamental flaws in our recruitment.

Maybe I’m too harsh as Clive Wilson is my all time QPR legend, surpassed only by Adel in terms of ball control, but come on….. if it quacks, flies and swims like a duck then????

Ashby needs to binned in January

He does give encouragement to any kids of limited ability that they could achieve their dream of earning a Contract in the professional game.
As I said in the match thread playing on your opposite side carries minimal weight when you cannot play a simple five yard square ball to a teammate using your correct foot. The only positive things he brings are fitness and tattoos
I know he’s young but he’s not ours, thankfully never will be, and needs to called out for having zero ability anywhere on the pitch. You can make excuses for his miss against Watford if you want citing him as a defender but do me a favour!! In midfield he is the opposition best player as his passing starts most of their attacks and whenever he finds himself in defence he is positionally awful, doesn’t tackle much, minimal aerial ability, not exactly pacey and makes criminal errors. That chest in the six yard box to set up Nahki should’ve been punished and it was so brainless I would’ve turned the bedside machine off myself if I was alongside him.

He HAS to be on the out list for January and we 1,000% must sign a left back
I know Santos has had some proper ropey showings but I’d stick with him way way way ahead of Ashby

There…… that’s off my chest

He could be the new Sammy Kojoe

Never seems to have the ball fully under control
However I love his attitude and also seems to have far more awareness than Armstrong had plus a real willingness to track back and hassle when needed.

Think he might start next Saturday v PNE
Good luck to him

Have a look after the first goal last night.

Everyone ran to Field to celebrate (who was himself running to Smyth).... apart from Cook who went straight to Kolli and I am sure was bigging him up for an amazing leap and assist with the header.

If that's not good Leadership of a young 'un then I dunno what is

Dare I say the fans….. specifically Saturday 23 November 4:45pm

Marti’s song was belted out loud, proud and repeated.
He said himself how he felt humbled and I am positive that day convinced the Nourry Child he could not part ways with Marti or risk all out revolt against himself

Marti continues to learn.
What a fantastic man we have at the football helm here

Turning to our precarious position it may not surprise many that I’d still have us in the fcukd category
We’ve not got a senior striker
We’re still carrying baggage like Madsen and Anderson
Chair will take weeks to be fully fit
Injuries continue to stretch an already thin squad at the busiest period in the calendar
We don’t have a left back
There’s a lack of pace all over the squad
And….. we’re only four points above the dotted line with some teams below us having two games in hand on us

Feet need to be kept firmly on the ground but in Marti We Trust
