I’m not saying he shouldn’t be first choice. I just think at 23 and he’s had now 6 games in England, it would be good to give him the odd game of rotation. But with our injury list that isn’t possible. |

Do wonder if Colback is fit whether Field is better at centre back and Colback with Varane in the middle. |

Superb. He needed time and what after all of 6 games….he’s looking very good. He was written off after 2. I think he is best if the new signings potentially…..we need to get some of JCS, Colback fit though. We can’t rely on a 23 year old in central midfield. |

We’re a team very low on confidence and after Portsmouth game, bottom and with no clean sheets all season. We had to improve and one part is to become difficult to beat again. I think last 2 games have shown that. |

Whoever decided signing a tall midfielder who can’t tackle or head the ball would be a good idea to spend 4m on in the championship needs to go. And go now. I think signings of Nardi, Morrison (briefly what we’ve seen), Varane, Saito, Dembele…..these are all ok signings. Some a lot better than others. Celar, Ashby and Madsen look terrible signings. That’s the issue. 3 terrible signings and 2 of them cost money. Forgot Santos…..he’s somewhere in between. |

I’m just guessing but if they are overlooked, he’ll suggest another player. Surely they are all his recommendations one way or another? Otherwise, what’s his job |

You can be given direction but if your job is to pick out good players to sign and the ones you suggest aren’t good, that’s down to you, not the “direction” you’ve been given. |

He’s to take most of the blame for the bad performances though. I doubt Anderson was a “club signing” for example. Look how poor he has been. It’s also his decision to keep the Madsen and Field “axis”, rest players vs Palace, play Fox over JCS to “save” him for tomorrow I guess and it’s also him who sets the team up and sees what they can & can’t do in training. |

My initial reaction after a few defeats is always “sack him!” but I’m always like that and the next day I’m more rational. Of course we shouldn’t sack him and I’d say stick with him even if we do to league 1. But let’s be honest, we’ve been poor in pretty much every game this season. We can’t only blame the new players and Noury for that. Marti and some of players from last season have to take some of the blame. Why rest players for Palace cup game? What were we saving JCS for yesterday? If he’s fit play him, don’t save him for Coventry. Marti works with the players and sees matches he must have seen that Field and Madsen isn’t working. He must see that we are boring to watch and concede too many goals. At the moment it looks like he doesn’t have any answers. That said, I’m hoping that going back to 4 man defence of Dunne, Cook, JCS, Paal with Field and Varane in front will bring us more stability in next few games. We need a clean sheet and need one asap to get confidence back. |

He’s young and posh so people don’t like him. He’s not setting the team up and based on today he’s not dictating our formation. Hes not blameless but Marti and the players have to be held more accountable. 7 of the starting eleven were here last season. I think most would say they were/are happy with Nardi and Dembele. |

I do wonder whether he over complicates it in his coaching. I get lost when he talks about the game. Wonder whether over time, players feel the same. I’m not quite certain what our game plan is and not certain players know their jobs. |
