"third worst accumulation of points in the history of the PL". I really hope Watford get promoted. With their transfer embargo until Jan 1st 2014 and a lot of the Italian loanees probably not able to play, Watford would break every record next season I reckon.

Think we're about joint 6th in worst premier league points totals, otherwise spot on!

yes, 6th joint. Journo not done their homework I see.

Derby: 2007-08, 11 points
Sunderland: 2005-06, 15pts
Sunderland: 2002-03, 19pts
Portsmouth: 2009-10, 19pts
Watford: 1999-2000, 24pts
Wolves: 2011-12, 25pts
QPR: 2012-13, 25pts

Still... c'mon Watford!!

Nice article, welcome and deserved praise for LFW, and I've got a fair bit of sympathy with the advice to TF to stare out Harry's brinkmanship.

I had no truck with saving money at the cost of staying in the Premier, but now that we are relegated (and with immediate bounce-back a wild fantasy), saving money by clearing out the expensive dross is an absolute priority.

I would sooner see us go to League One than keep an underperforming bunch of drones.

Wouldn't bet on that. Amazing what a bit of team spirit can do.
