Don't think as a club we can really afford many candidates given our current situation to be honest. Think how he's got the youth team playing is similar to how we would like our first team to play, last time he had an incredibly tough job on his hands, as was highlighted by how much Coleman struggled to get things right when he came in. Could just be me speculating but the fact that the board has sacked Coleman and Bell today suggests they may have someone they believe better lined up. | | | |

Personally I'd have hill back. I know he isn't everyone's favourite because of the way in which he left, but colemans style of play was awful and hills was awesome. Realistically I think hill will end up in league 1 though |  |

Beech cannot get the job, he's had his chance and didn't take it.
Since we've been pushed to this point it has to be hill, i've said before that I wouldn't want him back, but he's the best candidate out there, so it has to be him. |  |

An impossible job? He was given money to sign players on loan, he went down the route of getting experienced players from championship clubs and managed to get our side playing even worse football than what had been served up the weeks prior to that. The stevenage game is without doubt my worst experience as a rochdale fan and beech was in charge.
I will be far from happy if he is appointed. | |

I think one thing is certain, we'll not be taking on a manager who is currently employed. This means we will either promote from within (Beech) or a person who is out of a job after being sacked (for failing at his previous job, a multitude of names make up this list) [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]
