Manager merry-go-ground 12:17 - May 31 with 2321 views | aussiehoop | It's been great viewing the last couple of weeks. With the benefit of hindsight I'm glad the board moved when they did to appoint Hughes. Even if we kept Warnock and stayed up I think he'd have retired and we'd be up sh*t creek without a paddle in trying to appoint a manager of Hughes' calibre. It's a weird feeling not having to worry about things and looking forward to a no nonsense per-season... Not very QPR like is it?!

And yes I also agree that it's great not to have the the churning uncertainty of major changes that Swansea, Norwich, WBA and Villa are going through. Particularly worrying for Norwich, IMHO.

Manager merry-go-ground on 12:35 - May 31 with 2288 views | WestbourneR | There were few who saw the genius at the time. It was a frustrating few weeks. Many even said they'd prefer to go down with Warnock than move him on... ridiculous when you think about it now.

Before we all get too smug, we would do well to remember that if a better job offer comes up, be it in the short, medium or long term, Hughes will take it. No one to blame, it's just the way life is.
