What a good signing guys. "Boggy" is not a worker. He's not the best footballer. But his finishing is Premier League standard. You will have to withstand the shortcomings in his game and I think he probably thinks he is better than he is but if he gets chances he will, more likely than not, score.
We have signed Dagnall today as you will have seen. Do you have any opinions on him. Seems to me like a typical Keef signing - hard working, did well, lost his way a little, cheap! I have 100% faith in him with the signings he has made - McNulty (well capable championship defender), Perkins (love this guy, amazing engine, strong in the tackle), Vaz Te and Davies obviously and Matty Done is improving game on game, he and Wiseman have serious pace, Wiseman growing game on game too.

In keeping with the MT Barnsley have got a really honest, hard working never say die forward in Dagnall. He ALWAYS gives 100% and as said elsewhere will be an active defender when not in possession.

Comments about Wiseman are spot on. He will continue to improve and his pace and willingness more than make up for any other weakness.

My first ever Dale game was Dagnall's comeback match when he came on and scored a hat-trick. Absolute magic. Like most people on this thread, I think he'll come good for Hillcroft and do his fair share for the team. Not a gifted finisher, but has a good turn of pace, an incredible attitude and the instincts to be in the right place to find a chance.
Incidentally, I think the performance of Bogdanovic against Preston was one of the best attacking performances I've seen at Spotland, with quality vision and passing, great movement and an awesome first touch. Maybe he can be the Berbatov of League One! He's got a lot to do before the supporters will forget about COG but I think he's going to be a big hit at Dale. |  | | |

Not meaning to be churlish here but I recall being frustrated with Daggers quite often with his seeming inability to trap a ball - and when I thought about my abiding memory it was of him attempting to trap a ball in the penalty area - only for the ball to spring off him straight to Rundle (i think) who hammered it into the net.
If asked to recall a positive memory of Daggers it would be his first equaliser in the MK Dongs game where he curled it into the net from about 25 yards. |  |

best Dagnall moment for me has to be his 2nd against the mk dongs, just an incredible turn around, seeing Ince's reaction was priceless. |  |

another aspect of this is that one of our relegation rivals have let go a player of Dagnall's quality to take a punt on an untested non league striker. We all know Dagnall's class and he's been sacrificed as a gamble to prolong Knill's time as Scunny manager.

With regards to Dagnall, he is a fantastic signing for you lot and Hill knows exactly how to get the best out of him (which is key if he wants to perform in the ch'ship. If he still has a similar amount of pace then that on it's own can be a real threat. He works his socks off and has a good level of ability, definitely capable of scoring some goals given the service and a good partner. Yet another shrewd signing from Hill and I think he'll do well.
Has Wiseman played on the wing yet? He was a bit suspect defensively for us but he was absolutely fantastic at going forward. One of the fastest players I've ever seen at Dale with regards to running with the ball at his feet. |  |
