I had my doubts about McNulty very early in his tenure. Yes he took over in a bad position but there were games in that relegation season where we managed to have zero or 1 attempt on target. In 90 minutes of football that is really shocking. Yes we turn on the odd good performance but these games with hardly any attempts on target are so frequent. Just look at Barnet today, long balls, long throws, chasing down lost causes or putting defenders under pressure. Threats from corners and freekicks. We do none of that and the slow passing football is awful to watch even when we get it right. Sack him now whilst we still have a chance of play offs and a Wembley final before its too late. |  |

There's still an awful lot to play for and anyone bleating like lambs about sacking managers, because of a drop in form needs to give their heads a wobble. Get behind the bloody team.
Remember, this is a 3-year plan, not a quick fix. How long have Barnet been in the National League? Halifax? York? Southend?
From where we have been as a club, this last 18 months, it is inevitable that there will be hiccups along the way.

Giving him a three year contract must go down as one of the worst decisions this club has ever made.

Tbh they all managed in the football league with us, we're now at a lesser point in the pyramid. Not too sure it's just a "drop in form" that's the major worry, for me it's his consistency to play a certain way that's blatantly not working with the personel hes recruited to do that job, not to mention his in game management, that would take some real explaining.
We need to remember it's supposed to be entertaining first and foremost, the football for the majority and even before this season would be a superb cure for insomnia, im not sure it helps Jim's cause any the absolute shite we got served up weekly by BBM, sadly its very similar | | | |

I mean 5 years for Hill was probably his downfall but at the end of the day he is our best ever manager. It was a reward for everything he'd achieved - which was astounding given our crowds and resourses in League 1. To be mixing it with the likes of Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United, Barnsley, Bolton, Charlton and beating them. They were incredible days and seem a long long way away watching todays performance. | |
