One of my butties put a post up on our WhatsApp group about it, so I watched it tonight, its a brilliant film it has to be said, seen it before, bur watched it on my own tonight and really enjoyed it.
I recommend it to all my fellow Jacks and Jacky's its well worth a watch

I'd only seen it once before and I never paid it much attention in all honesty, but I was on my own watching it tonight and I couldn't take my eyes off it, superb.
Good friend of mine sadly passed away , was in one of the Choirs at the end of the film .
The final scences were filmed at 3 am , helecopter shoots and lighting were a problem . It did drag on and most of the singers were falling asleep on the chartered coach .
He insisted he was onscreen on the final cut , I only seen him on some outake clips though .
Like Trainspotting , Twin Towns , you had to be there to get the full Story .

Sometimes best to leave a classic film as a stand alone , in this case an obvious call . Hit the Welsh and Swansea humour spot on as a one off film , remake or follow ups , no .
Star Wars lost me after the first two screenings , went silly after that no Idea of the plot .
Aliens franchises run until it totally ran out of steam , yet I hear Ripley will return in another sequel , let it go as a cash cow . CGI will ruin it anyway .
Mentioned earlier , the added scene at the end for the American audience market . Did not realise that and maybe reasons .
Twin Towns and Dylan Thomas are maybe not on the same script .
