I understand why Nourry gets a lot of stick and why most want him out but on the flip side he stuck with the manager when we were on a awful run, his signings are mostly looking much better now they have adjusted to the Championship and he has listened to the fans and started comms about how long injured players are out for.

I don’t like how he’s learning on the job at our club, but maybe he’s not as terrible as some would have you believe?

(Just playing devils advocate!)

I think Marti’s performed miracles again with what’s available to him.
The amount of chances created in the last two games has been astounding really .
Even at our lowest point against Middlesbrough, we created enough chances to have got a couple more . When you consider that Dembele, Chair and Colback are all missing , that’s no mean achievement.
As for our defence, we’ll look at the fire power Watford and Norwich have and their respective goal scoring records . It’s nothing short of astounding what they’ve achieved in the last two games and that’s without Jake and with an under par Paal .
I still get the feeling he ain’t overly enamoured with Nourry though. .

Definitely not a happy man.

This was in WLS, one of a few comments about "the club" /Nourry in recent weeks.

https://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/updates-on-celar-paal-chair-frey-clarke-salt

“This is something that we need to improve as a club. There have been too many injuries, it’s something I’m very worried about and I’ve been saying for a long time that it’s an area we need help and need to improve in.

“I felt there were some things we had to improve and perhaps some things in the past that perhaps we could do better.

“But it’s an area that the club wants to manage in a certain way. Let’s see what happens.”

I don't think it's far fetched to assume there are issues between Cifuentes and Nourry. Cifuentes has been slipping in little comments that give rise to this assumption for a while now. I'm sure he's been clear about his concerns to the CEO.

If Nourry doesn't respond positively to what Cifuentes feels he needs, I worry about how long Cifuentes will be at QPR.

He's not happy and every week Marti's comments are increasingly more alarming than anything on the pitch.

It's imperative that QPR keep Marti here and happy. I'd rather anyone leave - players, staff/board member or certainly newbie CEO - than this manager who keeps us punching miles above our current weight.

As pointed elsewhere: to keep clean sheets against Watford away and Norwich, the two best attacks in the league, without our best centre back, our only left back on half a leg and a centre back playing RB (and scoring), while fashioning so many chances without our best two creative players and a recognised centre forward, with two teenagers with less than half a dozen full games between them starring...

It's incredible. He's earned whatever he wants. I am only interested in Cifuentes' "game model" and "marginal gains". Nobody else's opinion should count.

Yes I know, but is it all true.....I dont know. I give my opinions, good or bad, about players because I actually see how they play. Nourry, is all well above me & we all know some of the rubbish in the press is absolute nonsence.

They are facts in the literal and dictionary sense, yes.

Him saying (on film) ‘I have been in football for 11 years‘ when he’s only 26 is a literal and factual lie unless he’s including playing Subbuteo.

Most people do not want him out.
He’s not got the experience most would deem necessary and has made mistakes but not enough to warrant the abuse a few think he deserves.

I think he totally deserves the abuse he gets , the bloke is at the best naive and at the worst incompetent....so Nourry Out from me!

AND WHEN I DREAM , I DREAM ABOUT YOU AND WHEN I SCREAM I SCREAM ABOUT YOU!!!!!

Yes I heard him say about 11 years but hey I have seen that sort of stuff from many individuals in his position.....but that is just 'by the way' imho.

I have not seen him say I decide who plays for this Club, I decide what style we play, I decide 'this & that' on the playing side. I am sure that MC & Calm have major input into the playing side of the Club & they are not dictated to. But, I have no prove so maybe it does happen but until I hear MC or Nourry talk about incoming transfers then I will continue with my belief, rightly or wrongly. I believe that MC chose Anderson & Frey otherwise they would not of even got onto the clubs radar.

You (& Norf) may be right but I have no evidence that you are......show me an interview where he says any real insight into the playing side & I may switch my views & thoughts but atm I havent got a major issue with him.

Here's some more from Nourry on the transfer dealings.

“If there is a specific hot button issue where there’s a level of disagreement on a certain player then I will spend more time looking at a player myself. But generally speaking, I’m not sitting there watching hundreds of games a day.”

Sounds like he has a final say if there's disagreement otherwise what's the point in looking closer.

He will have also signed off Williams continuing in his role remotely as he's covering both CEO and DoF roles.

Nourry on 14:53 - Dec 8 with 1288 viewsessextaxiboy

When he says "we" he means in his previous position as lead consultant ,so basically him . He "supported" the club in changing manager , he researched and decided on a style of play and engaged a manager who understood that that the playing style had been decided by data and was not for changing .

So he ran a football website when he was 15 and used that fact to get his ‘11 years’: so what?
It’s such a minor throwaway thing yet
As gazza says there is no evidence of all the major crimes a few seem determined to push their agendas as being fact.
Rubbish like he’s forced Cifuentes not to pick Kolli (how’s that theory looking now?) and he’s tried to force Kolli to join a club in Saudi Arabia which a person on here has repeated a number of times since yesterday (with surprise surprise no sources or evidence).

The vast majority of QPR fans aren’t interested in made up nonsense and are happy that Marti has been backed and retained through a very difficult period and the team look like they have turned a corner.

Nourry on 15:49 - Dec 8 with 1110 viewsstainrods_elbow

Agreed. While it's of course fitting to ask questions about Nourry's role, credentials and experience etc., the level of hysteria and hearsay about his performance in recent weeks has been off the scale. If the team continues to improve and climb the table, it will doubtless dwindle to a dribble. The CEO has little or nothing to do with our injury list, our poverty of goals, our game plan, or our under-performing players, which are down to Marti and his coaching team. Let's hope we're now really turning a corner on all of them!

Poll: What should the club do now (assuming no imminent change of owners)?

So, first of all, let’s get one thing straight. This is a football forum full of mostly middle age blokes who are far from industry experts, expressing conjecture about a shared passion. This isn’t Hansard, a government inquiry, or an IKEA wardrobe assembly manual. You should expect some gossip, bullshit, and emotional input. That’s what I’m here to enjoy anyway.

Trying to police it, ridicule it, or diminish its worth like you and gazza have is a bit pointless really. If everybody had to evidence their opinion then it all unravels doesn’t it? Clive’s reports, the Frankie Knuckles thread, and the views on gout.

Secondly, this thread and the other threads IS full of evidence. Clive has listed it, videos have been linked to, and articles shared but you are choosing to ignore it anyway.

People can’t win. No evidence and it’s fanciful ramblings by idiots. Supply the evidence and dismissed as unimportant or ignored.

Once again.

Nourry has left us with only 2 strikers + a teenager he has (allegedly) fallen out with. Selling Dykes, but not replacing him just bizarre.

1 left back he told could leave despite loaning out the other. Said left back is now picking up injuries and out of form. The other is in Scotland.

Bought in 2 right backs, 1 who can't dislodge a left footed centre back playing right back because he is pretty poor.

The other right back is now playing emergency left back due to lack of cover.

A lack of cover in midfield as realising the right back who had been signed was gash, they switched from Hayden to sign another right back.

Signing of Madsen, who had been overlooked by every other Championship team who looked at him due to being 'too slow and weak for the Championship '. Guess what? He's too slow and weak.
This bloke was signed for money we can barely afford. God help us if he is on a multi year deal.

Injuries continue to mount, and MC has called this out on WLS. Our head of medical lives in Dubai or wherever.

I'd pretty much say Nourry has a lot to answer for. Thankfully we still sing the managers name loud in the ground.

Shane Warne would’ve proud of your spin here.

Someone being given a CEO role based upon ‘11 years of experience in football’ becomes pretty damn important when they turn out to be a 26 year old recruitment consultant for him 10 of those 11 years were running a blog about football.

It’s like Starmer making a graduate Chancellor of the Exchequer based on ‘21 years of finance experience’ watching people pay for items on a credit card.

The attempt to fck Kolli off to Saudi Arabia is literally backed up publicly by Kolli’s dad. But as we have seen in your attempts to spin like Muttiah Muralitharan, Kolli’s dad will undoubtedly not be a genuine source in your eyes supporting what many of us have heard from people at the club.

Once again.

As I've pointed out several times now, MC declared our summer business 'almost perfect' at the end of August, and has repeatedly underlined his trust in the squad since then, so to say the inadequacies of the players (if inadequate they are) have nothing whatsoever to do with him won't wash. First, he's obviously played a key role in recruitment, and second (and as he's explicitly acknowledged in the same interview), it's his job to coach them into a cohesive unit. That hasn't changed.

Few here would disagree with Dykes' sale, and the fact that he's now a benchwarmer at Birmingham consolidates that view.

If Kolli's performance yesterday is that of a man who's in the CEO's bad books, bring it on! Why not take your cue from what's actually happening in our games rather than amplified suspicions on a messageboard by the usual ITK-ites without any evidential base?

Paal assisted for one goal yesterday, nearly scored himself with a superb effort, and was taken off as a precaution, as confirmed by the manager, with a tight hamstring. Hardly the mark of a player 'picking up injuries and out of form'!

The Hayden saga has been done to death. If we can get back in for him in January, we may well be, but otherwise I'm not convinced he's now needed, personally.

Madsen may or may not 'make it' (whatever that means), but is showing signs of improvement. I agree he has further improvements to make, for what it's worth. Once Chair is back, I suspect he will (rightly) make way.

I would like MC to be more specific about how the club can ameliorate its medical department/strategy, though I don't expect he will be. Certainly, the club should listen to him, though that doesn't mean he will get everything he wants not necessarily ought to. There are doubtless a number of variables in play, though I agree that our senior officer domiciled in the Middle East is not a good look.

As I say, we continue to improve, performances- and results-wise, and a lot of this noise will subside, even if it's right of course that questions continue to be asked.

So that’s why you keep posting the same thing over and over again: no evidence at all, just you’ve read a social media post by Kolli’s dad. So you know nothing more than anyone else then.

You also genuinely think the owners gave Nourry the job because he said he had 11 years experience? I’d hope they did a bit more due diligence than that.

Spin goes both ways doesn’t it?
