Biggest Club in the World vs QPR Match Thread 15:37 - Nov 6 with 42862 viewsMonkey_Roots

When we knocked them over last season, I was round my mate's house, who is a HUGE Leeds fan, and has a HUGE mouth to go with it - they were going up, we were tin pot, couldn't wait etc etc

I took a picture of him after each goal

1st picture, the facial expression was a bit like 'that's weird, they've scored'
2nd picture was more like 'oh feck'
3rd picture was the middle finger
4th picture just had a blanket over his head

It was one of the best days of my life.

Leeds 2-0

2-0. Because of course

Well, this has been just as bad as Tuesday night. Leeds playing a training game, thankfully. This squad is as poor as the relegation squad of 2000/01, and it's going to suffer the same fate. Can't see a way back. Offloading all the new signings in Jan and replacing them all will come too late

It's worse than that squad. At least it had some goals in it. We seem to playing a type of anti football, where the object is not to score a goal. Leeds taking it easy, has avoided embarrassment... at least for now.

I'd say so. Can't really blame him I guess (although he shouldn't really have signed a new contract if he wasn't happy with what was happening at the club with signings etc)

Hopefully we won’t need to pay him off if he has got another job

Just for shits and giggles (minus the giggles) I've been watching Santos since he came on and fukc me he's managed to stay 5 yards away from the ball at all times. Like, he's constantly the wrong side of his man, like life is passing him by and everything is a surprise

Smyth was limping around for the last while.

Will he join the Tendinitis or IDD back thread Brian? Or should we open a new ine?

One of the worst players I've seen at this level. Who sanctioned that signing?

The thing is, what do we do now? There is no way this squad is escaping relegation. I'm at a loss. Whatever we do, it will be too little too late. There is no way back this season. The damage has been done.

Nardi poor for that goal. Turned and made himself small.

A pity that. I thought the attitude was good enough, some good last-ditch defending and the spirit seems to be intact.

Thin gruel in terms of consolation, I know.

I love Sinton but is he on a positivity bonus or some shit?? Saying 'we know what we need to do over the international break' - yeh mate, collective hara kiri. That's the only thing that would sort out our current playing squad

And now we're very much bottom and five points adrift.

I love Monkey Roots; he was integral to our survival last year.

However, when he said 2-0 Lids: game over!

Can he do the next one and say: 3-0 QPR?

I think the fact is that, despite not being great themselves, Begovic, Dykes, Armstrong, Willock and Hayden were still all streets ahead of the players we have replaced them with. This team is awful, and is still likely to be awful when some of the injured return. Without 5 or 6 new players of good, proven Championship standard, I just can't see how we're avoiding the drop this season. It's beyond woeful

Incredibly harsh on Nardi IMO, he's been great this year and a massive step up from Begovic
