1st time visiting Bath on 17:54 - May 29 with 4304 views | PunteR | Bath is a lovely place to visit. The Pig- near Bath is a great restaurant in the countryside worth checking out plus its a nice place to stay if you haven't already booked something. Also this quirky cocktail bar which was recommended to me by a fellow poster is defo worth checking out if you want something a bit different in the evening. 1st time visiting Bath on 18:30 - May 29 with 4234 views | GroveR | I normally detest anywhere that doesn't have a W postcode but quite like Bath. If the weather's good, the Boathouse on the river or the Wheatsheaf in Combe Hay (10min drive) are great spots to sit out. More restaurants than pubs but worth travelling to for the food. https://wheatsheafcombehay.com/ https://www.boathouse-bath.co.uk/ If you're partial to a spot of brunch, I'd highly recommend the Cosy Club. If you get there early you'll get a table on the terrace. https://cosyclub.co.uk/location/bath/ | | | | Login to get fewer ads

1st time visiting Bath on 19:04 - May 29 with 4155 views | loftus77 | All of the above and also Sally Lunn's for a traditional Bath bun. Gets very busy (and a bit touristy) at peak times but worth a visit. https://www.sallylunns.co.uk/

1st time visiting Bath on 20:34 - May 29 with 4073 views | BathRanger | I live in Bath too. A lot of the most popular places to go have already been covered in previous replies and the good thing is it's a small city so I'd recommend you just talk a walk around the city centre and you'll see a lot of the sights, like: Roman Baths The Abbey The weir near Pulteney Bridge Pulteney Bridge (one of only 4 bridges in the world with shops on it I believe) Great Pulteney Street The Circus The Royal Crescent and Victoria Park There are loads of places to eat and drink so just depends on what you fancy. It does get busy with visitors especially in the summer so it is best to book restaurants. Never been to Edesia because I think it is fairly new. Sotto Sotto is one of the best Italian's I've been to, so should be good if you can get in. Scallop Shell is good for fish and seafood. The Mint Room is an excellent Indian but is a few minutes away from the centre. Noya's Kitchen for Vietnamese Most pubs and bars in the centre are fine but again can get very busy at the weekends. If you want to visit two of the smallest pubs in the country, go to Coeur De Lion and The Old Green Tree.

A perfect segue into one of the transfer window's most iconic moments. What's that coming over the hill? Is it a dildo? Is it a dildo?
