Saw him play for Hereford at Nuneaton in 1970, went just to see him play.

He was always a man mountain, but let's just say he had an extra few pounds.

In spite of that and not moving much out of his position he controlled the game with his vision and passing.

Not in his prime but he still had "IT"

Bob Latchford as an Example : Saw him from the subs bench for Haverfordwest County v Newport County in the Welsh cup. He was lethal and moved at about the same rate as Jan Molby, but destroyed us.

They went to his funeral in Leeds
