If signed, he's likely to go into Dev Squad. Where he'll be competing with Shann and Leahy.

Good player, from Marti's hometown, right-footed left winger in the Chair mould - but out for a long time with a very bad-looking ACL. Best part of a year, came back in April and played a couple of time apparently. Bit of the Anderson about him if signed, as he can play comfortably at a higher level but for the injury. Maybe I misheard and it was Marti complaining about his holiday back in Spain and he actually said he had a "Tiny Villa"
Personally I would be steering clear of injury prone players but if a player has had a one off injury in an otherwise unblighted career then I'd be more interested.
I'm thinking more Martin Rowlands (signed with his leg in plaster) rather than Mark Hateley. | |

Rumours may be rumours, but does seem we are properly scouting for younger players with development potential.
Have not heard of almost any of the players we have signed or been rumoured with in recent weeks, but does seem promising to me.

The development squad players all announced individually so far, but not sure if scouting players for youth squads and above done any differently
Obviously Eze fell into that category of scouting.
You can never be one hundred percent sure about younger players and there are no guarantees re progression but am certain we scout each year and doubt it's anything new.

Think Rocco Friel and Daniel Bennie are both well scouted prospects and not your usual castoffs as both were highly rated in their clubs. Always a gamble of course.
I was referring more to rumours like Jonathan Varane, Ethsn Mbappe and the Scottish Bayern fella mentioned above. Might all be nonsense and we end up signing players never on the radar, but we do seem to be having a good look round - which is what you'd expect with Cifuentes really anyway. | | | |

It looks like we are beefing up defence in the young and long term. That is where the potential cheapness is, like JCS.
If we can get cheap defenders in, this means more monies for spending on expensive forwards who always cost more.
I would like to see Ross Stewart on loan from Saints if they don't want him anymore. He can come and get a few games with us on loan to build up his fitness. Top player who is far superior to Dykes. |  |

when we signed sam field his prior injury record was pretty bad , thats luckily turned out ok for us . |  |
