Yeah, I can't understand why Warnock loves Hoilett so much. Took him to Cardiff as well, and tbf I think he did do OK for them.
Hoilett went on the Onouha podcast and they had a good laugh (literally) about how bad the QPR team was while they were in it from 2012 onwards, setting new consecutive losses records etc. Excuses jump between.....Too many signings, not enough time to bed in, didn't give Hughes enough time, too many egos, claim we had a "lack of identity" whatever that means?...........Then they spend ages complaining that many in the team felt like QPR fans hated them (I wonder why), which is "exhausting" and makes it difficult to perform.
For me, they give impossibly weak excuses, both were earning more than any of our players earn now - and I still think the players are compensated at a level where they should be able to tolerate some 25k Per Anum wagie calling them a "useless twt" from 50 yards away behind a load of other fans and stewards. Worth a listen anyway, some good insight into their view on that period, as frustrating as it is. |  |
