Needs to be a discussion had.....

The squad we've got are not bottom 3.

We're getting tactically outmanoeuvred at home almost every time we play.

It's not a lack of experience in the team anymore. A lack of firepower, possibly, but we should be better than this.

Edit, perhaps I should have said our starting xi are not bottom 3. I agree, the overall squad is poor.

I'd like to know what football decisions Lee Hoos is making Norf!!!!! You will be telling me next that he recommended last Saturdays team selection and formation!!!!

Well between him and Ainsworth has decided who we should and shouldn't sign over the summer.

They made a night of it. Had a meal, then round to Gareth's house, couple of drinks and watched one of those films where a bunch of old blokes saves the world from an incoming meteorite, or such like. Then signed off on Cook, Colback, Fox and Begovic.

Those signings are solid on paper to be fair to the club.

But I cannot believe he is still in charge this morning after Saturday.

We really must not be able to afford to get rid.

Dont know why we bother. .... but we do!

Yeah, but ate up the budget - none of them would be on low wages.

How the hell do you put any kind of positive spin on things after 2 successive heavy home defeats??? How do you address the players and have any credibility at this point in time? It’s really sad but I just think he has no way back from Saturday … GA will always be a legend for me but I really think things could get worse (God help us)! especially if Leicester produce their A game.

I'm sure they do discuss signings Norf....and I would expect them to do that. Not sure they have made good signings though but I suppose there are massive financial restrictions. Some of the signings have been very average imho.

who takes responsibility for the taylor-richard’s debacle? which by the way sums QPR up in a nutshell. no pot to piss in and still royally screwing up. beyond amateur, we could see things weren’t right and we still had to sign him. where’s the due diligence ffs!

my point is no manager is going to succeed at QPR. LF should have been relieved of his position a long time ago, we should have persuaded Warburton to stay. we should have kept Critchley. Sacking incumbent managers in the hope for better is just scapegoating without fixing the underlying problem of how the club is being run.

The team is performing so badly that I have little confidence QPR will win those 6 pointers. Burn those games and the challenge for the next manager becomes even tougher.

I've always maintained that timing in football, as in life, is key. It's not just about sacking a manager but whether you've identified a competent replacement. For me, it appears almost written in the stars that the likes of Eustace/Warnock/etc. should become available just as QPR nose-dive into another crisis.

However, procrastination is the thief of time. These candidates probably won't be available come the next international break and, should the form not improve under GA, QPR will be left scraping the bottom of the managerial barrel.

Exactly. I doubt there’s a huge difference in wages between our signings this summer and Austin, Johansen and Gray under Warburton which supposedly broke the club.

I doubt that as Colback and Begovic were without a club.

Another international break coming up in November.

Maybe they will do exactly what you suggest, give it the next 4 games, and then if it’s no good they could pull the trigger in that international break.

I think that would be reasonable for all concerned.

If he can field his best eleven players, including Cannon, across the next 4 games and come out of it with some credit, then maybe he still has a shot at turning things around and we don't have the expense and aggravation of sacking a club legend and replacing him with God knows who.

If we capitulate in those 4 games (as most no doubt anticipate), then enough is enough.

One last crack of the whip Gareth. Step up.

Austin’s contract at WBA expired before he joined us in 2021. Gray was a loan so I doubt we paid his full wages. Johansen joined for an undisclosed fee so we probably paid a bit more for him.

I doubt the likes of Begovic, Cook and Colback have gone from Premiership wages to peanuts.

I'm not sure I could go through another "blackburn" moment.

GAreth has done his credit with me.

If they stick with him then I wish him luck but It'll take a huge upturn in form for me to return.

I get sick of hearing Ainsworth described as a "legend".
Marsh was a legend.
Bowles was a legend.

End of!

A tangent question.

I consider Taarabt a legend regardless of the time spent with us!

Do you agree?

What is a legend? There is no definition in football terms so its purely about option as is the "Big Club" argument

Returning to the room with crisps is now enough to warrant Legend status.

Noticed the club is quite active on socials today after a few quiet days…. I think they are going to pretend Saturday never happened.

Genuinely don't mean to offend, but if, as free transfers, the best Colback and Begovic could get was a team which has been struggling near the bottom of the Championship for some time now, and is more likely to get relegated than promoted, then I really can't see how they were in a position to command a high wage from anyone, never mind one with very little money to spend.

In all fairness, he was missing both Field and Cook in the Blackburn game, both of whom are absolutely key to maintaining our defensive structure. His team selection and set up was highly questionable however, and we paid a heavy price because of it.

For me, he is teetering on the brink, but the outcome of our next set of games before the November international break will definitely determine his fate.

We'll just 'wait and see'.

Nobody has seen anything from QPR players or Management that would give you any confidence or hope of survival In this league, It's game after game of shyte results and performances but we'll just 'wait and see'

It's a disaster, open your bloody eyes.

Going on about the next four games, do me a bloody favour the last four games produced one bloody point.

Give over FFS.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Can’t believe he’s still here during int break & that would’ve been the time to make a change, walked out after 80min re Blackburn game & have never done that & I don’t Boo either, just disenchanted with the football or lack of it & way things are going at the vlub
