A cull is needed! 16:15 - Aug 5 with 2630 viewsRangersDave

Sorry guys, i write this at 2-0 down and do, sincerely hope we pull through this. But, given the tools (and yes they are all 'Tools' in both meanings of the word, Gareth wont change anything.

Lord knows what we do in training or the 'under 21's' etc? why are those that are coaching this set of players, juniors etc not producing anyone of not?

Sin-le answer is we are gash, our players dont work, sick note culture prevails, as does 'take the money and run' ethos.

I said this team has a cancer running deep through it, and love him or loath him, Gareth will take the Shyte for it, another guy will come on, and repeat, rinse, repeat etc.

Keeping these players is farcical, we arent helping ourselves 1 little bit. Root and Branch needed sorting in the closed season. They are money theives!

Now for the rest of the match.........

Hypothetically, do you think it would be possible to just get rid of most of a squad and start again with free agents and free transfers and loans, during a season? There'd be costs involved, but maybe you could actually find 16 or 17 guys happy to give their all just to play in the Championship on a relatively modest (bloody good!) salary.

Yes i do, there are enough players out there doing nowt, and that are hungry and haveva modicum of talent.

Surprised we havnt gone down that route pre-season really.

The trouble is there's precious little to cull and even less money or time to source adequate replacements.

You need money to fund a cull

The current incumbents are pissing on the cash bonfire they built and lit.

Think the problem is with the levels of incompetence at this club we are exactly where we deserve to be.
Backed Ferdinand over MW, backed our jobs for life coaches despite being unable to produce any players. LF and Co wasted the Eze money on so many duds who we ended up paying to leave or sold at a loss.
That's how you end up with the performance today.

QPR are like a heritage rock act where times have moved on and they are bashing out songs from a bygone era and the World has moved on. Feel really bad saying this but Ainsworth does not look the part on the touchline of a serious manager/coach he looks like a 50 something fading rock star in his cowboy boots, how the hell do these supposed top level footballers take him seriously, even if they are useless. It is all a sorry mess.
