I haven't got an answer but whatever action Is taken needs taking immediately, I've seen crap over the Years but nothing like the last few Years, we are literally going to pieces at 100MPH.
Well lets start by not gifting the midfield in defence and bypassing it in offence or playing tactics of 30 years ago in the modern game

During my lifetime, 8-1.
Can somebody confirm the football club still owns the ground. This feels like Caterham.
Yes we do.
Tony Pony jumped ship and I can only think that Reuben is looking to do the same. They are stripping right back to a) meet FFP and b) balance the books.
They are looking for a way out, openly marketing for additional investment, but they are going to be disappointed as the rules mean that we are a billion miles away from being a challenging team.
At least it LOOKS like a Caterham situation is a long way away at the moment.
While some of us have seen QPR turn a four-nil deficit down at HT a couple of times, I rather suspect this crop of caaaants will be falling over themselves to get off the pitch as opposed to trying to regain some respect and dignity.
That said, all the problems on the pitch emanate from off it.
Have a good afternoon fine people, that's quite enough for me.

All teams have off days etc and heavy defeats. What is so depressing about today is it was so predictable and you can't see a reason why it will change much in the future, though we can cling at things like Colback coming into midfield and adding some bite I suppose.

Our squad is a toxic mix of posers who don't want to do the hard work necessary to play professional football and the mentally fragile who give up at the slightest knock. In fact, one or two of them fit into both categories. Laughably, some of them even think they should be playing in the PL!
Change the manger if you like. Change him again. And then again after that. Won't make any difference to these players.
That is the most depressing thing facing the club...and us.

This is total utter crap can someone remind them that the friendlies finished last week, Watford are treating this as if its a training session they are just walking through us picking out players and we are clueless

HT 4-0. Could easily have been 6. No pressure on the ball. They're walking through our midfield and we certainly havent got a defence capable of dealing with that. Smyth, Kelman and Chair not offering anything defensively, leaving Field and Dozzell trying to plug gaping holes.
I'm not sure how many they'll get but double figures isnt out of the question.

My son’s just left at half time. He thought it was going to be bad but not this bad with the tactics baffling. I’d beg MW to come back and at least watch us try to play some “football”. He got a tune out of Willock and Chair but that won’t happen due to the budget. This could well end up double figures.

They say pre season games mean nothing but the performance at Oxford was so bad that today was always going to be pretty much the same. We are clueless and so, so lightweight. As Andy Sinton said Watford are playing at a canter exactly as Oxford were.
The players are simply not good enough and I am sorry but Gaz, bearing in mind the performance at Oxford, has not set us up correctly for this game.

73% possession 14 shots (9 on target) against 27% possession 1 shot (zero on target) would be embarrassing stats at full time, but these are the half time stats.
we're playing watford, what will it be like when we play one of the better teams in this division?

You really dont want to subject yourself to the next 45.

But he has NO CENTRAL DEFENDERS.
The blame is squarely at the clubs door. Entering into a league season with ZERO specialist Central Defenders that have played at this level is negligence of the highest degree. That may be GAs fault, but where are the Academy boys ready to step up? We have enough freekin' coaches at the club. Clearly awful.

Smyth, Chair, Kelman not adding anything defensively...or going forward.
Mad set up. If you think you're up against it - fair enough with this squad and tight finances - then surely you have to set up as solidly as possible, even if it's ugly to watch.
Just saw a shot on the stream of Watford subs doing HT warm-up drills whilst Rangers subs aimlessly walk about and do keepy uppys (admittedly haven't seen the whole HT period so don't know if anything different happened). For some reason no manager seems able to fix this...
