does anyone remember a player from around 20 years ago with the surname of gavin? a mate of mine has text me saying his new girlfriend`s brother with this surname played for us then left to play in oz with our then departing manager?

if my memory serves me right was`nt don howe our manager around then but i don`t remember leaving to go to australia, peter shreeves perhaps?
