Reading 2-1 QPR. Much improved performance, deserve a result, but both Reading goals come from set pieces (a corner, but of course, and a free kick from out wide). They win it with 5 left. Heartbreak.

This game last season was brilliant, one of my favourite away games of recent times. I brought my godson as an 18th birthday present, had our first “official” beers, got to laugh in the faces of the world’s least intimidating spotty school kid “mob” as we equalised and almost won. Those were the days. It gave my godson the QPR bug for good.
On the other hand I’ve had some properly miserable times in that atmosphere free facsimile of a football club.
