I popped over to WeAreTheRangersBoys to see what there take was on Beale and stumbled on what looks like a definitive list of famous R's fans"
Right then, I only went and done it! Below is the list of names that have been mentioned above. Certain names mentioned were patently ridiculous and debunked in subsequent posts, eg Hugh Grant. Some are stretching the definition of "famous" but I left them in. Others were too imprecise eg "the one out of Eternal" so I left them out too. The list was compiled over 6 years so some are now dead or their fame has waned but irrespective of that I think they count as Famous Rs. SEVEN esteemed posters separately answered with "Me" so maybe Michael Gove is actually a regular on here? Lastly, Take any queries to Google - I really have no idea who half of them are. I've just listed 'em from above.

Just watching something now on ITV about the actor Jason Watkins and his wife talking about how they lost their toddler daughter to sepsis and he's just said he's a QPR fan. They did a bit of the filming at LR.

Which he described as "the home of football". I guess he doesn't get down there much these days!! Apart from being a very moving program, I did laugh when his wife was having a clear out and tried to throw away his Play Off final program. He was mortified.
Mike Roberts. A camera operator who worked for 40 years with directors such as Alan Parker, Neil Jordan, Richard Attenborough and Steven Spielberg, died May 24 of natural causes. He was 60. Roberts was in the midst of location shooting for Lasse Hallstrom's “Chocolat” in Bath, England, when he passed away in his sleep.
I work with his son in law, he's my site manager. Chatting today and just found out he was QPR. He told me QPR asked Mike Roberts to film a match just so the coaches could analyse the game after. This is years ago, before analysts were a thing, But what also got caught on the recording was Mike shouting " for fks sake rangers".. "kin useless"...."what was that?!!".. Not sure if the coaches played it back to the players or not..?.. lol
I hadn't looked at this thread at a while and just happened to chance upon that Theroux video so the scarf was a complete surprise. It's odd that now I like him a lot.
I think supporting QPR shows a degree of character. Like I know we've got our dickheads, being a dickhead overrules any other character traits I guess, but if someone is a QPR fan they're generally sound I reckon.
Where as if you support any other team, you're most likely a c*nt.
Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.
Journalist Tom Carlin. In a Daily Express* travel article, today, about his experiences with his family on their first ever cruise, he relates how they went to Madeira, writing:
"A tour took us to where Ronaldo grew up and we visited his museum, which boasts more trophies than we're used to seeing as QPR fans".
Indeed.
*My mum bought it....
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."
Actually changed her name to Queen, just so the protectors of her lands would have to be called, the Queen's Parks Rangers. Wicked sende of humour.
Used to drink in the Queen Adelaide before games and often went away. She was one of the four who steamed the North Bank, Highbury in 84 if memory serves. Always up for it and used to call the Chelsea Pensioners, 'them ol' caaants'
Gawd bless yer ma'am, you were one of our own!
funny mention on the four that stormed the north bank that day ! i was there and not seen any mention of it since. i remember them getting escorted back to the clock end to the cheers of the rest of us ! not sure they even got booted out or arrested or just put back in with us ? told my mate about it a week later and one of them turned out to be a mate of his from Bracknell ... i said he must be a proper hardcase and he said no, he was just absolutely f***ing mental ! ha ha

Dr Xand - crazy name, crazy guy. You'd assume his twin brother supports us too?
"R from Afar is a bot??"
I don't know what you are getting at, is it because I posted something on a long dormant thread?
I'm far too lacking in IT skills to be a bot!

How can I possibly be a bot? I know all the Rangers chants! How does that song go?
"We are the Rangers *bots* Stand up and make some noise".
