African Cup of Nations thread 22:07 - Jan 9 with 32801 views | queensparker | Watching the Cameroon Burkina Faso game and it reminds me of how the World Cup used to be, you might know one or two players but the rest are a mystery. Some real good players on show you’ve never heard of plus proper fouls. Burkina Faso look decent. And Technicolor kits. Looking forward to watching it - seeing Chair and Taarabt ripping it up for Morocco would be a great QPR moment, plus looks like Seny might get a game for Senegal. No idea who might win though [Post edited 9 Jan 2022 23:30]

African Cup of Nations thread on 16:13 - Jan 13 by Northernr | Well this is a bit better, Cameroon and Ethiopia 1-1 already, 10 mins in. Maybe things will open up a bit in the second games. |
Ethiopia's defence makes QPR look like AC Milan circa 1990 not quite sure why Cameroon are trying to time waste there are goals a plenty for them if they push on

Really FIFA, really? Didn't seem to have the symptoms; a headache dizziness and confusion loss of appetite and feeling sick excessive sweating and pale, clammy skin cramps in the arms, legs and stomach fast breathing or pulse a high temperature of 38C or above being very thirsty https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/heat-exhaustion-heatstroke/

Hmmm that's an African referee who has spent his whole life and long refereeing career in Africa, getting heatstroke in Africa. The other 3 officials excuses are....................? | | | | Login to get fewer ads

You can see why Adel fell out so many times with the national team. They have great players and don't seem to use them, or don't use them well. They were really strong in the qualifiers and Chair played most of the games in the past year. Now they look to be a much weaker side without him. 1-0 to Comoros isn't sparkling form.

African Cup of Nations thread on 17:43 - Jan 14 with 2468 views | Northernr | I cannot believe Adel and Ilias cannot get in this team. This second half has been ludicrous. Almost like they've had less than 2.5 goals on their coupon.

2nd goal now. Was it offside? TV not letting us make our own decision.
African Cup of Nations thread on 18:51 - Jan 14 with 2314 views | stevec | Can we have Chair back for a week or so, they haven’t got a meaningful game for 11 days, assuming they’d even play him.

wonderfully entertaining second half, the two Sierra Leonean equalisers magnificent for differing reasons. And the lions goal celebrations............love it! Well done Osman Kakay
