I was banned for simply sticking up for myself. Darren has caused untold upset for many who have left this site and would never return.
I kept in touch and offered support to a poster who was suffering domestically and homeless relying on friends t see him through at a bad time.
I thought I offered him support . Obviously I didn't.
The same poster stayed at my house twice ,once with his lovely new partner and he KNEW of my political (right wing) views then.
The same poster now slags me off .
This is darren's legacy. Im quite prepared to take a ban on this site so long as you all know what this "renowned" planet swans poster is REALLY about.
I'll leave such decisions to the mods/support. It's not my place to tell them who to ban or who's ban to overturn. It's their rules now and I'll just abide by them.
What is posted on here is often posted on other ite. Those banned have snouts who report back to Pross HQ.
One thing for sure,Mr Sumbler aint the guy I knew.
As for lifting his ban -for breaking terms and conditions-I raised this on the other site which led to a perma ban-so dont ever let anyone suggest that terms and conditions are relevant as they are clearly not.Its open house and you can call people what you want,paedo/peedo,evil,scum and nonce.
Nope,this site is really a better place to be -as is obvious.
From what I can see on here,ALL posters are decent and able to engage with respect and even former adversaries can move on. If people want to perpetuate hate then there ya go.
Under the previous reign people got away with saying all sorts of things. Now it seems that kind of behaviour won't be tolerated. There is definitely a lot less abuse on here now and that's a good thing.
It was always a massive irony to me that quite often, those handing out the abuse were people who considered themselves morally superior, going by their posts.
I admit to have gone well over the top with some;Killkenny,trampie,and others too numerous to mention but I genuinely only hold genuine hate and contempt for one and that' my issue,not this site's ,which I why I have buried peRch,who was a character,a username ,no more than that.
I quite like engaging with those of opposite opinions but few can express them without rancour,ie the unrelenting hate for anyone who votes or is thought to vote Tory.This is a free vote.I ve voted for them;Ive aslo voted Plaid,Labour and Liberals before they were Lib Dem too. I'll vote as I feel next time too. All politicians are kunts.Period.
I'm impressed with this site.It is light years away from the grotesque spectacle of grown men basically defaming each other ,although some jerk was repeated referring to one poster as a "nonce"-THE word of abuse ,it so seems.
Having regrets is no good .Just respect each other.
No he shouldn't be banned,if you dislike his views just put him on ignore,very easy.
I understand he does try to cause a lot of upset on the board,but we should understand his frustration and bitterness in the position he finds himself.

Who's got the ban hammer these days? Childish.
I believe they are called support and they enforce their rules as they see fit. If that's childish then complain but personally I much prefer it with less abuse being flung around and lets face it, several people accused Darran of, shall we call them unhelpful shenanigans! Even ECB.
