Films or non sport tv programmes where QPR get a mention. on 10:53 - Jan 21 by daveB
Red Dwarf gave us a mention in the late 90's about our leaky defence
Boys From the Bush had loads of references
Bottom had loads including in the live show early 90's Ritchie had an inflatable sex doll which Eddie wanted to call Lesbo Furryland after Sir Les
Ha, there was a scene about scattering Richie's ashes over Queens Park Rangers football ground when they were stranded overnight at the top of a ferris wheel.
Little Britain, 'I'm a Lady' too, can never find that scene where some kids wanted their ball back.. 'yes you were, you were left back for QPR'. Very funny.

In an episode of Blue Peter, John Noakes changed a light bulb in one of the floodlights at Loftus Road.
Not a film/TV, but QPR are mentioned in Jo Nesbo's book Headhunters.

Michael Gambon mutters "Plastic pitch at Queen's Park Rangers" to distract him from Joanne Whalley rubbing cream into his scaly psoriatic knob in "The Singing Detective". Dennis Potter was a Fulham fan, couldn't imagine the extra aphrodisiac effect.

An obscure one... in a regular sketch on BBC 'Nationwide' there was a character referred to as The Honourable Queenie Park Rangers'. Anyone else remember that?

Help me out with this (in case I am losing my mind)...
Wasn't there a program on TV (1980s I would think) about a woman footballer who played for a men's team. Kit was QPR and it was filmed at LR, but the team was called something different, like EPR or something.
I have googled it and I can't find anything - so it's possible I am losing my mind. If anyone else remembers it then I'll feel saner!

I remember it. I was there at half time when they filmed her taking a penalty, although Andy Impey actually ran up behind her and scored it! We were all told to cheer. Must have been early 90's

My memory has gone on this one, but there is a still photo out there of Norman Stanley Fletcher on his prison cell bed reading a red top newspaper and the back page is something to do with QPR - A Bowles headline maybe?
Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

Yep, 1992. I'm not going mad.
Yet.
"Thank you for supporting Queens Park Rangers Steep Staircase"... and I thought I'd signed up for a rollercoaster.
