Just out of interest Northern whats your take on the lease option as you're normally more clued up this sort of thing than the rest of us? Owners sell off Loftus Road for development and use it to pay for the stadium or do they pocket it to repay debt? [Post edited 26 Apr 2019 14:09]

Shouldn't be written off completely, but should be approached with extreme caution. Giving up a ground you own for one you don't is risky full stop - being able to borrow against Loftus Road has helped keep us going during some tough times. Paying rent on your home ground each season is a fool's mission too - your ground is meant to generate income for you, not take it away. If you're already down £x before you've even started each season that's a problem. But 100 year lease at a nominal/peppercorn rent? Might be ok.

Looks decent and very neat but if possible I'd like something with four distinct stands, a bit like what Brentford have sort of done at their new place although not with such a big drop off in size between the stands as appears to be the case there and still retaining a tight, shoebox feel like we have at LR. |  | | |
