Match thread - Forest (can I?) 13:15 - Feb 23 with 43869 views | Copenranger | Not a regular poster, but could I have a match thread for my birthday, please?? Turning 40 today, which probably could have been a minor depression. But got up this morning to a surprise from my girlfriend: Tickets to London for the weekend. At the airport now and she just showed me tickets for tomorrows game as well. Amazing - and she doesn't even care about football. Can't ask for more, but would really like to have 3 points as well :) See you at HQ (haven't been there for more than a year, so excited)!!

Match thread - Forest (can I?) on 16:54 - Feb 24 with 3133 views | Nov77 | Didn’t Holloway say he had revenge on his mind after what happened at the city ground? Well we stopped them scoring double figures against us over the two games, does that count?

It's going to make difficult viewing........ I just hope he doesn't have a melt down..... I'd rather not have the brush with disaster we had at the end of last season.

Are there though? | |

It has happened several times recently where if we'd scored with an early chance the game might have gone the other way. It's going to be tough for Holloway to pick himself up after this, let alone the team.

I agree with a lot of that, Lytham, to be honest. But, to be honest, I only ever really analyse games the day after once emotion is completely removed. Initial thoughts are therefore dangerous, but I will say this - the scoreline may have flattered Forest but I'm struggling to think of a single positive that can be banked from that game. That's rare with me.

Lytham can i have some of what you’re drinking mate? I like to be measured with these things, but that was absolute crap ftom start to finish. Dreadful. Flattered Forest? That flattered us! Murderously poor, defence in particular was an embarrassment.

Match thread - Forest (can I?) on 17:29 - Feb 24 with 2562 views | VancouverHoop | Tactics, tactics, tactics. Where are they? We play every team the same way, irrespective of their strengths and weaknesses. Sometimes we eke out a win. Usually because, man-for-man, we're better than the other lot. Very occasionally we win against a better club, because they haven't prepared well. Generally this happens early in the season and they aren't fooled twice.
