I'm taking that number with a massive pinch of salt. from the little I've read, it seems it costs £100k to replace the surface stuff and £500k to start digging down, which takes months not weeks. Sure NBLG will be along in the not too distant to confirm. His last words on the subject was we aren't even proposing to spend £500k in the summer now? Wash, rinse, repeat. |  |

Hence my question could this have been total spend over the last few seasons?
Including hire of the dome, relaying the pitch this and last season, payment for contractors working on the drill and fill etc. Adding all of that up the 500k figure seems more plausible to me | |

Read posts from this fella. No idea who he is, who whispers in his ear or how much veracity there is in what he says, but he seems to have mostly been spot on so far. I suspect the £500k figure originated here but could be wrong.
