Letter 22:47 - Feb 6 with 5637 views | Wills | I am going to write to the club to ask for the remaining home games of this season to be played at a neutral venue somewhere in the north west, especially the FA Cup 5th round game, because the pitch looks an absolute disgrace, it is the worst pitch I have ever seen, which won't look good live on BBC One, so it wouldn't be a bad idea if no more games were played on it until next season to give it time to recover as I have never seen a pitch as bad as that in many a year.

Letter on 23:23 - Feb 6 by KenBoon | It did get a bit rough towards the end, but i've seen prettier looking pitches play far, far worse than that. How it stands up to water concerns me though. BTW. OP: Superb. Really funny. |
The drill n fill should really help to remedy that issue.. Also i wonder if they will rake the area that looks like a beach to help reduce water retention....

Are we playing cricket?
Letter on 11:53 - Feb 7 with 1198 views | soulboy | Im sure the club will agree to your suggestion and i hope we chose to play at giggle, their pitch is in great condition which is due to all the s**t they put on it every other week.
Letter on 12:23 - Feb 7 with 1159 views | BartRowou | Had to laugh at Oldham fans getting all high and mighty on their board about our pitch. 46 posts on there, all of which conveniently forget to mention that the best period in their history came about because of a dodgy pitch full of sand.

What remedial work is planned for Sunday?
Letter on 17:17 - Feb 7 with 973 views | NordenBoysLoveGravy | I’m led to believe the club are looking to have it returfed after the Fleetwood match, though the pitch is currently frozen (the cover didn’t go back on last night so the heavy frost has got into the ground) and there’s rain coming over the next few days so the immediate concern would be to get Saturdays game played to avoid further fixture congestion.

If this is the case, why can’t the club communicate this plan to supporters? And if not, what’s the plan for the next few weeks? Also, why didn’t the cover go back on last night? We’d lent covers to Accrington so presumably had the hired ones available to protect our own surface. [Post edited 7 Feb 2018 17:28]

The first bit sounded positive then you spoiled it all. Don't like the sound of the rest at all.
