One of you learned, eagle-eyed Rs fans will doubtless already know about this mob, but they are a new one on me. It's not the usual osmium-heavy material I post, it's quite psychedelic, hypnotic, mostly guitar-based stuff.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."
The Marmozets are back but seems from what I've heard it's 'second album syndrome'.
It only came out the other day, has anyone listened to it yet?
First album was a bit watered down compared to the EP and what I've heard of the new album seems all a bit too slick and a tad poppier.
Not into it.
Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.
OK, so I am cheating, this is not from 2018, but my word, this album is an absolute monster! If you like rap/hard rock, you will be in raptures when you hear this. It's the musicians from Rage Against the Machine plus some top, top rappers. It's not one paced, either, it's very varied, catchy and funky too . Dive in.

Link's broken but I'm intrigued -- big fan on RATM but, despite trying, never been into anything Zac de la Rocha or Tom Morrello have done since
Best music I heard last year was when I bought a 12 classic albums-on-5 CDs box set of Horace Silver recorded n the 50s and early sixties. Think I'll do something similar this year. Trawling through Amazon now.
Not really my cup of tea at all but I guess young people like the kind of thing, here is my Cousin's sons band (Guess that makes him my second cousin?) he's the guitar player with the long barnet.

Ah rats silly me. I work in IT too .
It was "Hail to the chief" by Prophets of Rage. Great stuff IMHO.

Nicolas Jaar is back with another album. 2016's 'Sirens' was superb, this years '2012-2017' released under his Against All Logic moniker is also very good - a lot more house-y than his recent stuff.
