Why wasn't that review undertaken and what are you doing to improve player recruitment?

I'd expect a ten minute politicians answer to that one without actually explaining anything about the thought process behind the appointment.

Why did you employ at the clubs expense a security firm to look after you, what reason or information did you have you were at risk.

A reasonable question to which I suspect you will hear not a peep in response until after the fans forum next week, in spite of the fact that the QC's legal opinion has almost certainly been in hand for at least a week or so. And as I read the tealeaves, I must say that bodes very badly for the prospect of any kind of Trust action that could rock the boat. This despite me having received supposedly firm assurances that legal action would be forthcoming if I could present a sound legal case, when I was indirectly discussing this via back channels last autumn. Of course it is possible that the case I put forward does not hold water but I doubt it, and find the way events seem to be developing very, very disappointing.

The further meeting requested by the QC took place about 2 weeks ago. Further documents requested by the QC at that meeting were submitted last week so, presumably, it shouldn't be too much longer.

Thanks. The wheels of justice grind slowly, evidently! But the back and forth indicates something potentially constructive in progress. Good news.

Don't say thanks as if you're grateful for a small crumb of information. If this is in fact the case, there is no reason why we couldn't have been informed by the Trust, rather than have to go asking for any scraps. The lines of communication are really worse than abysmal.

If they haven't yet received anything definitive there is strictly speaking nothing to say formally as yet. However, as I said I interpret the fact that more info has been requested as encouraging, and I believe I know exactly what the QC wants to expand on. As for MattG, I genuinely appreciate that he has given me facts without any spin. I find it a refreshing change.

Yes please. As buyers didn't the alarm bells ring when the 'sellers' didn't want any contact made with the Supporters Trust during negotiations?
