I didn't say that every scientist or published paper had the same result. What percentage of the total is 1350? The most recent figures I saw showed that over 97% of all papers published on the topic supported the man-made side.

To answer your second point, climate is not the same as weather. If anything, you'll expect to see more unusual weather incidents, both hot and cold, as the patterns change. If the average temperature in those locations was reducing over the last century, then you may be on to something.

The 97% does not apply to Scientific Papers.
It is odd that you should say about temperatures reducing.
In the USA average temperatures have been dropping and in the last 3 years 1000s of lowest ever Temperature records have been broken.
You will not see it in our papers or the BBC though.

Why do you persist with this line of reasoning?

Climate change looks at global trends. Isolated weather temperatures in country XYZ does not prove or disprove climate change.

It does not prove anything.
Under AGW the Global trend is supposed to be upwards, but it has not been for the last 18 years apart from the 2015 El Nino increase (a natural event) which peaked in the last couple of months.
This 18 year period is commonly known as the pause while CO2 continued to increase, so any correlation between CO2 and the temperature was broken, in fact the only period it holds for is the the 1970s to the 1997/8 El Nino.
During the pause you had a large part of the Northern Hemisphere actually getting colder, record breaking colder and you do not find that at all odd in a supposedly globally warming world.

Yep.

Good point.

I'm done talking about climate change. Those that are in denial will stay that way, just as those who accept that experts know better than them will stay their way. It's like a discussion about whether God exists, it's kind of pointless.

Back to the EU. We should stay in.

Hence the much milder but far more extreme winters we've had in recent years.

Quite right too. The EU will continue to push the jet stream south so that the climate change myth will perpetuate and they can keep levying all those leftie green taxes. Do keep up dear boy.

Stability. I believe we pack a bigger punch as member of the EU.

And i believe that the ability (though we don't have to use this ability at all times) to initiate large scale economic sanctions upon players such as Putin is important.

What a cracking reason, so we poke the Bear with a stick to annoy it.

Erm, economic sanctions have worked very recently (eg. Iranian nuclear program).

The ability to use economic sanctions as a bloc can be enough to alter the behaviour of aggressors. Sanctions should be used sparingly, but pack quite a punch if chosen as a policy.

It's not just sanctions, either. It's the ability of the EU to trade as a bloc (the largest economy in the world when taken as a whole). Access to a trading bloc such as the EU can influence other governments.

Take Putin, for example. A lot of his billionaire friends (whom have helped him prop up his dictatorship over the years) are starting to get really peeved with Putin as the travel bans and asset freezes initiated after the Eastern Ukraine conflict began, take hold.

Well the jet stream shouldn't be immigrating here in the first place. If we leave the eu we can boot out the jet stream which is coming over here in droves changing our weather and acting like it owns the fecking place.

So true.

Can't we just take in the jet streams that we want, just like the Aussie's?

Iran is sitting on the borders of some of our closest allies outside of Europe. So it was no small feat to change the direction of their program.

It's not about poking Putin with a stick, it's about coercing him into holding back from all out war against sovereign European states. The EU does not have a common defense policy, and not all of its members are members of NATO, so economic sanctions are an important part of the EU's capabilities.

Don't really know why you're ridiculing it. It is exactly the sort of policy that the UK would use by itself outside of the EU, but it would be much weaker since we would not be part of the largest trading bloc on earth.

According to a report on the BBC news just now, if we remain in the EU the population of this country could rise to 80m in the next 20 years. That's an awful lot of jet streams.

WE did not "change" the direction of Iran's program, merely stalled it.
Of course those same sanctions are working really against North Korea aren't they.
In 1 day Obama rewrites all those sanctions and allows Iran to continue it's Nuclear program and if you really think they will not produce Nuclear weapons at the first opportunity you are even more niave than I already think you are.
Have you listened to the rhetoric coming out of Iran's leader?

And it will be. If immigration continues at the present rate. And it won't if it doesn't. An absolutely pointless thing to say.

Meanwhile another incredible lie from the Leave campaign in Wales. They have said they can guarantee farmers in Wales will get the same funding from the British Government if we leave as they currently get from the EU.

The rest of the UK is slowly catching up with the forward-thinking population of Planetswans. The national polls now seem to agree with us. :)
