IDS on 13:28 - Mar 20 by exiledclaseboy | Worth noting that now they've backtracked on the cuts to PIP, there's a big hole in Osborne's three day old budget. Something will have to fill that hole. |

IDS on 13:19 - Mar 19 by dgt73 | And maybe you should read what I said earlier- which was people who really need help should get it. Now what's your opinion on people getting this benefit when they could work ?. |
There's no doubt that there are a lot of disabled people who 'could' work, but where are the jobs for them? How successful will they be at the interview stage when up against fully fit candidates. I know businesses aren't meant to discriminate but they do.

Civil service has a guaranteed interview schene to overcome that kind of (often unconscious) bias. [Post edited 20 Mar 2016 15:21]

To be continued...... | |

IDS on 17:14 - Mar 20 with 1916 views | NeiltheTaylor | Same as what's happening g over here really. The more conventional, you may say clever, or less ideologically driven politicians are realising that the swivel eyed loons will bring the whole racket crashing down around their ears once bellies get empty enough and are suddenly, publicly 'discovering' the Liberal values they pretended not to hold. Which of course is the other racket...bring on the bread as the circus is in full swing!

It's still making me chuckle that Duncan Smith is now all of a sudden the apparent saviour of the downtrodden masses despite happily slashing away at every benefit he could find for the last six years without so much as a by your leave.

His performance on the Andrew Marr show earlier was Oscor worthy. And apparently Cameron called him a sh*t, which is maybe what Eton boys say to each other when they mean "duplicitous, lying c*nt" but haven't got the time for three words because they're too busy trying to save their party from implosion. Again. Although watch out for him getting the Chancellor job under PM Boris if Cammers loses the referendum.

It's going to get even better. The Tory party will implode after the referendum, whichever way the vote goes!
