massive club cardiff city 08:17 - Jan 23 with 4369 views | stircrazyjack | Trying to sell subsidised match tickets to members of the swansea area cardiff development centres at play football last night. Weird that such a big club would need to do that don't you think? Leon britton up there last night too as his boy is with cardiff development [Post edited 23 Jan 2016 8:20]

massive club cardiff city on 10:21 - Jan 23 with 3930 views | SwaneeRiver | According to Sports Wales, their average is about 14k this season. TBH they'll struggle to get that against a relegation threatened Rotherham. Makes me shudder that if we got relegated, what would our attendance be two or three seasons after if the football was uninspiring as theirs reportedly is (even though they are 9th and just outside the playoffs ) | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Reckon we'll lose about 4 or 5000 as well. Never to be seen until (if) we get back to the top table should we be relegated. Then we'll be back to kids for a quid, free school tickets, freebie DVLC tickets etc, as we did in the past. But 4,000 odd (very odd!!!) for a club that's bigger than Barca? Really? We had more against Scunny in the League Cup on a Tuesday night when we were lower league. And they brought about 80

massive club cardiff city on 08:20 - Jan 25 with 3223 views | monmouth | We've never claimed to be massive or a sleeping giant (and I know Bluey doesn't but a lot of cardiff folk I speak to do....fed by the idiot BBC and WuM). Truth is, both are small/middle sized clubs that attract floaters and theatregoers when successful. Plus those that are happy to buy a season ticket to watch hlf a dozen games, Also, once you've done the prem, the chumpionshit becomes less appealing than it was on the way up. The only potential upside is that it does give you space to build the next generation with free kids etc. I shudder to think what our crowd would be if we we weren't challenging top two. Let's hope we don't have to find out.

With all due respect after working with "them" for 8 years they are the most delusional football supporters in the land bare none. Comparing themselves with spurs Everton is commonplace while according to them Swansea are on a par with port Vale. My original post was a cheap dig at them nothing more.

Agreed. A load of mentallists up there, will gobble anything. The entitlement for being born in a smallish UK city is palpable and beyond reason. Nothing wrong with a cheap dig. [Post edited 25 Jan 2016 9:35]

massive club cardiff city on 13:36 - Jan 25 with 2793 views | JackSomething | What I was surprised at when I saw the highlights from the Shrewsbury game was that Cardiff didn't do what the FAW used to do when about 12k of us used to turn up to watch Wales at the end of another failed qualifying campaign. That being, stick everyone in the bottom half of the stand opposite the TV cameras, so at least it doesn't like quite as bad on TV.
