Poyet and Pep 18:44 - Dec 9 with 2478 viewsAyewSerious

Not a regular poster by any means but would like to think that what I have posted shows I am somewhat a sensible chappy and am not one to peddle unfounded rumour.

I had a conversation today with someone I trust implicitly when it comes to Swans related inner workings. Gus Poyet is our top target to replace Garry, Rodgers is not seen as a viable target and we have also sounded out Moyes. As an aside - a lot of the trouble and conflict at the club was actually down to Pep Clotet and not Garry himself. Many of the players have a massive issue with Pep. He didnt explain why and I didn't ask.

Not my first choice, but also not a bad choice in my opinion.

I'd be gutted with Poyet but I'd support him if he was appointed.

Welcome. I posted about Poyet last night and believe he would be a good fit for us. I don't understand the Pep bit though? If he was an issue alongside Garry why would he be a part of the future?

If Pep was the problem and not Garry, why not just get rid of him?

Does your source work in the canteen?

I got the impression that he certainly wasn't wanted as a cog in the future of the club, but he didnt go into detail regarding that. I fully expect Pep to be getting his marching orders.

Not for me, Poyet would have taken Sunderland down if he had not been sacked.

Even when you know, you never know?

Ah right. I thought from your title you meant Poyet and Pep double act.

Ah yes, I see that now. My mistake.

It was just to title a post that contained news on both men rather than stating they were a partnership in the making.

Pep gone. Think the players will be relieved, hope they play like it on the weekend.

Poyet is now touching odds on for the job. Ive had the night to think about it and I am still very uncertain about this appointment.
