Whilst the results have been disappointing the players put in brilliant effort with 10 men yesterday and should be commended for throwing their all at it. Support also brilliant.
Bony's work rate and contribution at both ends was again exceptional. Routs was on fire once again and a joy to watch.
Pablo was looking excellent in his short time on pitch. Despite his defensive frailties I was gutted he was the one taken off because (especially with a team like Chelsea) he is the one with all the trickery that can create chances out of nothing and that was important given we were unlikely to hold them with 10 men (although in fairness we made a brilliant effort at it).

No one is saying that Rangel is not to blame. The point was related to Shelvey needing to have more discipline in certain situations.
The Arsenal one is a case in point. We had just conceded and should have just looked to settle back down and regain composure. However Shelvey admits that his thought was ro go and chase game again, but now realises it was wrong option as we were left exposed.
Once he cuts those things out he will be a very good player. The fact that he recognised his own mistake tells me that he will learn and only get better. | | | |

The real debate is not about who was at fault for the Arsenal goal but whether Shelvey needs to improve in terms of discipline with and without the ball.
In my opinion he certainly does, but he is only young. Jonjo himself agrees, as he has said so in interviews and most pundits point it out as well
