The Frankie Friday Music Thread.....RIP 07:01 - Apr 4 with 2348809 viewsLblock

Here I am starting this from my recovery bed and no clue how to link tunes on an iPhone!

Will stick on my offerings from a PC later unless the other knuckles thread is the preference to use?

House classics and dancey dazzlers only, no hijacking from suicide rock please!

In the beginning there was jack.......

Been meaning to update for years.
Can only be one.......

My opening tune when I took over the box in Kentish Town NYE in 94 (I think) just after the midnight chimes

A couple of tunes later I dropped this in and rolled over the top of it the Tears accapella and then into full Tears version

Cue stage invasion and human shapes everywhere.
I'm buzzing off the memory now

My Fast Eddie track was a toss up between this and the one I posted. Check out his haircut on the album cover

MAW + India made some great records over the years, such a beautiful voice she’s got.

That Luther and MAW track is great, I found it recently on a compilation, couldn’t stop playing it for a couple of days.

Here’s some more Strictly Rhythm — this is my fave garage track, real night-time song, in da club, low lighting, getting lost in da track. Beautiful.

If you love MAW then this is a great track that needs to be played very loud !!

Ahhhh Camden Palace.... Nipper et all.

Them days... them crazy, crazy days

I think I was there the night this track was given it's maiden airing - the Palace jumped. They played it at least 4 times that night.
I remember going into the shop the next day and attempting to explain the beat, the vocal and the synth and just how good this track was at the time... Playing With knives indeed!
