They said at the recent feedback meeting the ticket website was t fit for purpose and were looking at options when the current contract ran out. They also said they were working with the current provider to look at the current configuration as it wasn’t good enough. This meant a click by click page by page review which was currently underway. It was stated that Stockport county use the same system but had invested more in set up, the customer journey was much better. They said it would take a few weeks so it’s a case of hopefully improvement will come . Like everything it’s sorting the mess from the previous regime. [Post edited 26 Oct 13:04]

But x is just a notification the web site is updated. Just like facebook. The story was published on the main website https://rochdaleafc.co.uk/commercial-focus-group-next-thursday/ I don’t think saying x is the only outlet is fair. I’m sure people who regularly post on here will almost certainly check the website. The daletrust have also pushed it on their media outlets. The club have rescheduled this meeting so it’s in person as requested by fans, The fact they are hosting this type of meeting is a real positive. Let’s not start off in the wrong foot and criticise at every opportunity. We need to move forward together. [Post edited 17 Oct 14:54]

At the end of the day this is the shirt choose, and in the whole it has been well received. As briers says there’s nothing wrong trying something slightly different and we can revert back to black and blue stripes |
| Forum Reply | New kit? at 13:34 31 Jul 2024
Ha ha I doubt they would have you and me modelling it three lions!!? Mind you if they did I’m glad it’s not stripes!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
| Forum Reply | New kit? at 13:29 31 Jul 2024
Well my eleven year old son who will get a shirt think it looks smart, the best kit we have had. So given target audiences ie people who will buy a kit and people who won’t I guess the club have got it right. |

Absolutely brilliant news. This brings to an end a four year nightmare and battle for our very club. I don't think we could have imagined such an outcome. There have been so many differences of opinion between fans regarding what's happened and how we should move forward. What this deal has done has met all those fans concerns and should bring everyone together. I think we especially need to highlight the work of the trust and its board over the last four years. Without the effort of these individuals we simply would not have a club. I can't think of a single reason why any fan would not show their thanks and support by not joining. Roll on the 2024/25 season [Post edited 9 May 16:38]

Totally Agree sutty. The Ogden family involvement was brought about fans and the trust and 100% their initiative has led to saving the club. I think the point about AB was they got involved in helping the negotiations once the Ogden family showed an interest. |

Why would club and trust thank him if he wasn’t? |

100% Agree. (And we have had some real disagreements!!LOL) Can’t see any reason why shareholders need to take up the pre emptive offer given the statement from the trust, the club and the Ogden family. From the despair of the EGM to the outcome we have reached in terms of the proposed investor is amazing and a testament to the work the trust and club have put in. I think everyone’s concerns voice from all sides of the argument have been addressed.. This deal does not only secure the long term future of the club, for the benefit of the community but gives all sides a chance to come together and move forward as one. [Post edited 26 Apr 11:57]

Glad to see Gordon will get a year. Think he’s solved what has been a problem position for us. Like to see Keohane, Rodney and Henderson sign. Happy either way for EBanks and John. If they sign on a deal right for the club then good. Would be the basis on a good squad, and would love to add Haynes and Chappman permanently. But with all those above would still need the addition of at least 7 new players to think about competing. Going to be a big summer |

This release list will tell us a lot about McNulty as a manager. Last year it was dictated by lack of funds, player triggering options to extend and much uncertainty. This year he can plan more and decisions need to be made. |

Great to see they are getting fans involved and some good designs at first glance. Coupled with the quality o’neils appears to be a good decision. You can only vote one from each section to narrow it down to a top four. Personally I would have preferred to pick top four from the 16 as I like more than one in one section and none in others. But let’s not make an issue of how the vote runs. Well done to all concerned!! For what it’s worth Shirt D3 for me looks great [Post edited 23 Apr 12:35]

Well after everything that has happened over the last 4 years this is finally an amazing conclusion and we can all look forward to an exciting new era. With the creation of a golden share the future of the club is totally secure from the likes of Morton house. The clubs short term financial worries are now covered and we have investment from an organisation with the expertise to invest and grow the club. They have committed to additional investment for training facilities which not only benefit the club but the whole time. We could only dream of this out come. Congratulations and thank you to all those whose hard work made this possible. |

Don’t get me wrong I’m not criticising the work we do, the community trust do a great job with the resources we have. The point I’m making is Stockport are in the school every week teaching the same kids every week. The kids see them as part of the community as they are there week in week out. Apart from my son who was moaning as he had to wear a Stockport County kit when they took him to a football competition with his school at Man City’s training ground the other week. He saw it as a humiliation. [Post edited 8 Apr 15:40]

Stockport do amazing work in the community. They have a massive football in the community programme working with the local schools and council. They have coaches going into schools delivering PE lessons and after school football clubs every week. In my son’s school he has a PE lesson from a coach provided by Stockport County once a week every week he also goes to a Stockport county run after school football coaching session once a week. I have lost count of the amount of times we have been offered free tickets via the school. They also run holiday clubs in some schools. The out reach they have throughout the borough is very impressive. Obviously these things take time and it helps being successful but they are building their fan base starting very young. |

I’d be looking to keep Gordon, he’s solved a problem position for us and allowed us to get more out Jimmy. For someone who had played little football he slotted in really well. |
