| News Comment | Green’s latest meltdown costs QPR dearly - report at 16:48:17
Great report Clive. Didn't get to see the game but was hoping that the team would be far more effective and positive now that we have kept our best 2 players and there is no uncertainty over transfers. With a few new faces in the team and needing time to bed in the defence surely we need to be more aggressive, more so when we are at home, to relieve pressure on the defence and keeper. Shame that Henry had a bad game but an earlier change-Doughty for instance- might have made a difference. I'm always nervous when the Rs play the ball around the back and return it to Green, players don't seem composed enough to keep ball or play the simple stuff. |
| News Comment | The annual League Cup humiliation — report at 17:58:43
Thought the youngsters played ok to be honest, a half decent cup run would have lifted everyone though so I'm not convinced such wholesale changes were worthwhile. Not seen anyone mention the poor corner taking, of the 8 corners we had at least 6 sailed beyond the back post. Clearly we were trying to hit Hill or Polter at the back post but we should be able to make better use of corners. |
| News Comment | Trailblazing Rangers secure shock cup win — report at 16:35:17
Only option was to listen to the match on Radio 5 live - Yeovil v The Hoops was their featured match. Shame that after 2 goals they must have decided that the game was over, lacked any excitement and so switched over to the Accrington game. Great to get a win, the Championship is won by teams that may not have a particularly outstanding set of players but they have a level of confidence and belief that is stronger then the rest - after the last few seasons the Rs need to start believing again! |
