How is it a positive for the new man if he's not going to be backed in the transfer market? Which he won't be. Now if it was at any other club with a chairman willing to back and let the manager build his own squad from scratch then absolutely agree with your comments Ormerod.if I was given a pound everytime "failed to agree personal terms" was mentioned while the chairman was in talks with a player I'd be rich and I'd be quite confident it isn't the player being the greedy one it's the owners who seem to refuse to pay the going rate.
Very Few will see it that way Steve because it's a load of rubbish.it really is not a great opportunity for a new manager to come into at all.he will not be backed in the transfer market it's really as simple as that Steve to be perfectly honest it's really not hard to work out that prediction now is it. Jose Riga wasn't when he came into the club with 7 or 8 players on the books having been promised the chance to rebuild his own squad.the chairmans disastrous record getting transfers over the line speaks for itself really.its quite clear his sole intention along with Owen is to spend as little if anything on Football side of the club.
Being someone who tries to be positive on all things in life I actually found myself fearing for the club's future last night.
It's really poor form from Tangerine Knights.plenty of pool fans would love to see Holloway return and this statement is bang out of order.he's a grown man who can make his own decisions.at least he knows how the owners work because let's face it they aren't going anywhere anytime soon.so what are TKs saying let's be managerless?ridiculous.
Yes.the players we have are not Championship players.you need some sort of quality in your team and taking in what I've witnessed this season we've got very little.we are vulnerable to every single team in this division.any team that has a bit of flare will beat us.sad but true.
Can't see Karl backing Lee Clark whatsoever.i don't class a few loans as backing a manager.January will come and go without money being spent.its too late money should have been made available at the start of the season.it wasn't and that's why we are in the position we are.
Possibly one of the worst performances I've seen at Bloomfield RD in 30 years and it's safe to say there's been some shockers.the problem lies at the top.the Oyston's haven't given the club a chance of staying in the league simple as that.a solid investment was needed at the start of the season Infact it was a must but as ever they did everything possible to avoid spending any of the money the club rightfully earned.theyve handled the club poorly and deserve all the negative press they are getting from the media.
If Riga was backed we wouldn't be in this position.Karl has let the club down massively and turned fans against attending games.the sad thing is I defended him at times regarding the way he did certain things now looking at the bigger picture I can't believe what a fool I was.he should be ashamed the way he treated Jose Riga and should be ashamed of the was he's ruined the clubs name.its only a matter of time before Clark realises what all the other managers before him realised that the Oyston's have no ambition whatsoever.the only way the club will move forward is if the Oyston family break ties with Blackpool FC.theres just No way forward for the club with them here.the football club hasn't seen anything invested in it and has been left to rot and neglected.i wish Lee all the very best and hope he can pull off a miracle but if he doesn't there's only two people to blame and it won't be Jose Riga and it won't be Lee Clark It will be Karl and Owen Oyston.
I can't argue with any of that sadly.I'm shocked and sickened by the treatment of the club by the Oyston family.Owen has no choice but to sell up and leave.
No.we will start climbing the league.we looked good last night for large parts I think the referee made some odd decisions which I'm surprised hasn't been touched on. When everyone is fit we have a very decent Championship side.
The owners will not sell the club at any time in the near future.protests will not make the slightest bit of difference IMO.get behind the club support the team.
