According to their local paper, Rovers dominated the first half! No mention of us playing for 11 mins with ten men, then Lancashire still recovering once he came back on for a while. Shots on target for them in 90 mins was 3. Bizarre. I didn't once feel worried that they would win. My main concern was that we wouldn't score.

After the game last Saturday, I was stood clapping the teams off. A steward told me that if I was going to continue to clap the teams off I had to go and sit back down. Has this ridiculous example of stewarding ever happened to anyone else?

Well, I was convinced that we'd lose today. Still a pessimist I'm afraid, but should have known better from a Hillcroft team. We were denied at least a couple of clear pens I thought and were on top for most of the second half. What a team performance! I'm still getting used to the fact we are in fact a decent League One side!
