I have said several times that Alfie deserves a chance. Has looked decent when he has been given game time. We must have better options than Madsen, Celar, Varane & Paal, if not, we are down |

Both Managers joined us when we were fighting relegation and both Managers kept us up.
The following summer Warnock signed Derry, Hill Kenny, Mackie, Orr, Helguson and added the diamond Tarabt. Players with fight and Championship experience.
We were promoted as Champions.
This summer we signed players with decent stats from around Europe with no Championship experience and not much fight.
I admit I went into this season feeling positive and excited and expected us to be mid table possibly challenging for Top6
In hindsight it looks as if our transfer strategy was flawed. We need a couple of Colback type signings to fight for points.

I know it's still early and hopefully several will improve as they adjust to the Championship but my ratings so far:
Nardi 8/10 looks a very good keeper
Santos 5/10
Ashby 6/10
Madsen 5/10
Dembele 6/10
Saiti 6/10
Morrison limited game time but 7/10
Celar 4/10

Losing home and away to Sheff Wed and 2 draws v Plymouth 2 points from 12 is what has cost us imo and Plymouth had 10 men for 60 mins and we still couldn't beat them |

He came on as a sub at Rotherham in Marti's 1st game, he headed it straight to them which started the build up to their equaliser. Useless. |

Personally I'm glad he's gone. In 9 years employment he has done nothing/very little to advance the club. Was lucky to be retained after his disasterous stint as Manager. I hope Hall is next and Marti can choose his own coaches |

I thought Danny struggled at first, to read the game but he improved really well and imo was a very good player for us. One of my favourite defenders from the many good ones we have benefited from. McLintock, Webb, McDonald, Wicks, Fenwick, Parker, Needham, Hazell, Roeder to mention a few. |
