| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 23:06:01 Didn't realise how much Rafferty contributed in an attacking sense until today. Mc Laughlin is a very poor replacement - very average in defence and offers nothing going forward |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 20:33:51 Our substitutions totally changed the game - they were scared stiff of the two attackers we took off and we replaced them with an anonymous player and a defender who should have been on from the beginning |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 18:56:25 Boring game and 2 points dropped First half poor mainly because of Hills team selection. Davies enlivened things up when he came on but why take Rathbone off and leave Brown on - he is not good enough for this level What has happened to our star signing ( Williams)? |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 23:48:18 we all know what went wrong - Jim McN is not a full back ( no pace) and Joe Bunney was a waste of time,However Kh seems satisfied with a home defeat after being ahead twice and has come up with a solution - bring back his old favourite Joe Thomson. Bizarre!! |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 11:11:43 KH has completely lost the plot - bizarre doesn't come anywhere near describing his team selection. We were at home against a team in the bottom 3 and he picks a team with no creative midfield player and a sole striker with no support whatsoever. We were gifted our two early goals and after that there was only one team playing football.Substitutions are meant to strengthen the team but the 3 we brought on did nothing at all - Sayers is not good enough and at the moment Vicenti does nothing but stroll about. I honestly wish that I had not bothered last night and can only say that I am glad to be going on hols so miss the next 3 matches after which I expect us to be staring into the abyss of L2. |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 13:45:29 What a shocker- the only bright point was the keeper!! Why are so many of our players one footed - a lot of opportunities missed in second half because none of our so called strikers can use their other foot. |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 16:32:56 Think that KH picked a team not to lose. With Bennett in a forward position the midfield had no flair going forward and we lacked the pace and zest of the previous two home games. At times we had 6 men in our final 3rd when we were supposedly on the attack!! Don't know why Allessandro is on the bench as KH seems to have no intention of playing him - preferring JB and CA and the ball continuously in the air.On the subject of Hendo - he looks like a player with his mind somewhere else (Barnsley?) |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 00:04:12 we were always second best today even though we scored so early on. If they had been 3 - 1 up at half time we couldn't have complained they were so much quicker to the ball and their passing was immaculate. However our 2 centre backs looked as tho they had never played together before and they punished us down the wings. The sending off changed the game but I felt that Hill threw in the towel- we gave them all the posession and they were bound to score which they duly did. After they scored their second why didn't he throw an attacking player on. KH needs to find a plan B |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 15:47:29 Very frustrating, and we could write it off as "unlucky", however this is not the first time we have struggled to score at home. The problem is that we are relying on midfield players to be strikers and it isn't working.Away from home it is a different story as we can play on the break. With a half decent striker we could have had six - when will KH accept this and get somebody in? |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 16:55:31 A repeat of Barnsley game except a worse performance. The experiment of playing without a recognised striker works away but not at home. Out of 8 home games we have scored in only 3. Don't understand why Lunt didn't get a game as Cannon was an embarrassment. |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 23:16:32 another 90 mins and no goals or real attempts on goal,We had a sack load of corners but nothing came of them. Another pathetic performance from GD - when will Hill wake up to the fact that he just isn't up to it!! |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 12:52:05 Agree with the others that it was a decent match/performance, but always thought their attack posed a bigger threat. Tanser looks a real find but until we get a proper striker we will struggle to compete. There has been a lot said about GD already but having seen his woeful performances pre-season I was amazed to see him start the game.IMHO he is probably the worst footballer in this league and KH needs to shift him out on loan!! |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 01:10:51 what a flat performance after the two cup games and I think KH must take major responsibility for it.Why play a lone striker at home and then when we go behind he ends up with 3 strikers on the pitch. The miss by Donnelly in the first half says everything about him as a player...... |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 15:43:53 Sudden lad misses the point it was 3 hard earned points but a performance that was well short of what they can do.Read what KH thinks about the game in the MEN - he thinks we got out of jail too!! |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 13:10:11 Overall a poor performance but a great last few minutes and another 3 points. Dicker is no where near good enough and Dale only showed anything at all when Tutte came on. Although he got the winner ( goalie should have saved it) Donnelly is no answer up front but then neither is Cummins - hopefully Hogan will be back soon.... |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 15:50:57 This was a fantastic performance and Dale never looked in any danger. There was a great fluidity going forward and the two central defenders were rock solid.I am finally seeing the benefit of having Cav in the side as it allows JK to get further forward and what a strike for the 3rd goal!! |
