He's been out injured since last January and isn't back on grass yet. That's also how long he's been stalling on a new contract. One year left and his heart isn't at Sunderland now. Sunderland either keep him, hope he comes to form and writes off £5-6m at season's end or takes an offer of £6m+addons and wipes it down. I think Adams to Everton, Stewart to Saints and Sunderland still with no strikers on the books (fit or unfit) still playing 4-6-0 until the Christmas window opens. |
