They (Spurs) had a really soft one awarded midweek too, I thought the officiating in the N.London derby overall was poor…. Until today 😳

I though it was lots of posturing from behind the safety of the metal fences/cages by both sets of fans, until I saw a metal fence fly over the top, followed by cans, bottles & coins, two police horses got involved trying to separate the two sets of fans… don’t know what kicked it all off, could still hear the chanting from Rossi’s… 🤷ðŸ»â€â™‚ï¸ |

How could any Swans fan ever forget Joey Allen’s winner and the absolute nonsense of Mike Deans penalty that followed... I’ll never forgive the idiot for that,
truthfully, it seemed like he was saying... I’ve got to send you off, appeal it, you might win... you have to ask yourself why you would purposely send off a player, knowing it was the wrong decision?
When reminded, this will be his second rescinded red card this week ffs... If we get promoted, it’s the one thing that boils my p*ss is VAR and the nonsense decisions killing the game 🙈
Like Mark Halsey put in writing after he retired, they are told what to do, spot betting is a big, big business... Dean must have made £Millions over the years, in full view of Millions...
The guy is a tool of the highest order... he’ making full use of VAR to hog the limelight even more |

Well I wasn’t on the match day thread, but almost lost my voice screaming at the telly, we were hopelessly outnumbered in central midfield, they were dominating the ball and it was just a matter of time until they scored, why oh why After all of the positive results and momentum we’ve gained over recent weeks, didn’t Cooper switch it up to give us parity where they were hurting us?
We outplayed this team at their place not so long ago... 🤷ðŸ»â€â™‚ï¸
We could have lost 3-0 tonight, and I wouldn’t have any complaints
A big chance tonight for us to make a positive statement...(I think Brentford ended up doing that)
All we got from the game was dogged determination, a scrambling defence and some woeful time wasting tactics at the very end, but at least we hung on for that precious point... ðŸ‘
it’s amazing how one game can give such a reality check on our progress...

Absolutely, they had the numerical advantage n midfield and used it well, all that was missing from them was a ruthlessness in front of goal, we could have lost that 3-0 tonight and based on our performances - I would have had no complaints... we were never in control, and Cooper did nothing to help the situation 😩 |

To be honest, I don’t give a fug about the yanks, when we’re playing good attractive football and a joy to watch, win or lose I’m happy, (happier if we win obviously)
I notice these forums barely mention the yanks until we go on a poor run of form and then they’re there to be shot at, don’t get me wrong, I’m no fan of our hedge-fund Owners Either, but this link to our own frustrations is tedious, it was even more prevalent when HJ was public enemy no1, an away goal greeted by a chorus of “get out of our club” ...
Great to hear Winter has budgeted for the entire season without fans, let’s hope with a decent PL financial package To support Championship clubs we’ll be okay for this season at least.
What concerns me more is how poor we’re playing right now, it’s sad how one manager (Potter) could maintain a style of play/identity and develop youngsters so well, yet others struggle with the to get anywhere near the same effort/consistency from the same players.
Yes Cooper has great contacts and has given us great loanees this year, but the way he sets his team up is often too defensive and he struggles with the tactical changes during the game, Coventry took us apart with ease last night And with a bit of luck Could have scored 3 or 4, don’t even talk to me about our home form, for me the writing is certainly on the wall for Cooper, he’s lucky the stadiums are empty with our recent performances... |

Personally not too keen on either club, I was in Edinburgh for a stag weekend many, many years ago... met a few Hibs fans on a night out, they heard I was a Swans fan and talked about Lee Trundle on Soccer AM etc. They were great guys and told me that Hibs were playing Celtic the next day and I should pop along to Easter Road, so without a ticket I went on my own, met a few of the lads outside the ground and they sorted me out with a ticket at face value. Had a great time, went for some beers afterwards and I’ve returned to Easter Road a couple of times since.
A Great club and something I never knew... if it wasn’t for Hibs FC - Celtic FC wouldn’t exists 🤷ðŸ»â€â™‚ï¸ |
